pjbear05
Jumped into the local yokel Italian market and did some aisle cruising. Threw together a rough mix of Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, tomato sauce, and spices, over pasta. A small green salad and garlic Texas Toast. Cannoli and sfogliatelle for desert. pjbear05
Haven't made a scratch Detroit style pizza in months, will do one today. The dough is in the pan doing the second rise, so it will be a couple of hours. A real loaded one this time; pepperoni, Italian sausage, mortadella, green pepper, mushrooms. Sliced mozzarella and sauce on top.

Also, didn't use enough pepperoni for my own personal taste, thinking the other meats would complement, and they didn't. I'll see again when I try the leftovers!

I mix the two together, fry up ground Italian Sausage. bake some pork meatballs and throw them in, use a ton of garlic, ground up some Italian seasoning, two teaspoons of salt and one of sugar - it's so very good. Lorraine
turkey bacon sandwich and pasta saladI had the same, but with Cole slaw.Did you buy it or make your own? If you made your own, what kind of turkey did you use and bread? Also, did you put any mayo or stuff on it? I used the Rao's because nobody was stocking my old standby, Del Fratelli, which is sweet and spicy enough without any additives. The leftover pizza was only as good as the original, so back to the drawing board.
