With the Premier League Championship decided, how big is a victory, either way, for Liverpool v City tomorrow? Methinks champions or not Liverpool needs to give MC a thorough beating. What say you?

I suspect Pep Guardiola may have a point to prove ..... although it could well turn out to be a cagey scoreless draw. I would love to see Liverpool hammer them though!!

Of course you want to win every game you play, but the pressure is off now. Even if Liverpool doesn't win, it will change nothing. They are the top dog this year.

I think the nerves were playing at the team a bit back in Feb/March, but those are gone now. Either this one will end 0-0 or 4-3, I think. Liverpool!!!!!!

And the Hammers (Iron Maiden's favorite team) beat Chelsea (Russian mobsters' favorite team)!

Huge win for West Ham when you glance at the table. They defeated one of the better teams in the league which really helps fighting off relegation. :) I wonder if fans have hammers in their hands when the bubbles get released after a goal. :smash:

The hammers are for when they walk around London and pretend to be big men. Have you seen Green Street? A club owned by porn barons too... :tsk:

I thought that was part of the charm!

Right, but why do they blow bubbles after scoring a goal?

4-0...almost 5. Sterling went nuts. And to think it all started with a penis grab in the penalty box. As I said before, it changes nothing.

Thank goodness the race is already over! Liverpool did not spark at all tonight.

I think Man City was more determined to win and Liverpool was not ready to "eat grass" as they say.

Yes, a bit of a disappointment but as you said earlier the result changes nothing.

Oh, was there a meaningless match this afternoon? Huh, I was still celebrating!

One thing that bothered me was why none of the scorers decided to run to those giant TV screens and at least in that way celebrate with the fans. It would've been a nice gesture. Maybe I'm just too much of a romantic.

Ronaldo is reportedly suffering from chronic knee condition called tendinosis for the last six years. It's an injury that has no cure and gets worse over time. Doctors say a patient would have to take eight months off, in order to get the knees under control. This would explain why Ronaldo has moved from a wing man to center forward in recent years. Also, he's scoring more goals from headers nowadays.

I guess he's mortal, after all!

Let's see if I can get something on Messi next. ;) There's a lot of talk about Lewandowski getting the next "Golden Ball." If he wins the Champions League with Bayern, it should be a given.

Polish Cup semifinal: Cracovia Krakow - Legia Warsaw 3-0 :chickendance: The boys will meet Lech or Lechia in the final.

It'll be Lechia, which is a good thing because Lech has been on fire lately.

Not on fire enough to win the semi-final match, apparently!

Well, they took 31 shots on goal in the game. Lechia was defending themselves most of the time. It took penalty shootout to decide the outcome. And would you believe, Lech was leading 3-1 after three rounds and still lost by missing the last three attempts.
