Guys!

I watched Woody Allen's "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex.... But Were Afraid To Ask...." EPIC!!! 1972!!

I am a huge fan of Mel Brooks. "History Of The World Part I" is EPIC! I can see some moments where Mel rips off Woody for his 1981 classic.

Interesting!

Wanted a little departure from the run and gun style movie. Heart warming adventure involving a character with down syndrome going after his dream...

There are a dizzying array of streaming services now, many of which are on this just published list from PCMag.com. The article describes each service's content and gives their fees. Several are free ad supported.

Not on the list are Kanopy and Hoopla which you can get with your library card number and PIN (I'm guessing in the US only).

Kanopy is awesome even if it’s only 3 credits per month and a limited selection of studios like Paramount,A24,Sony Classics and Bleecker. Tubi and Vudu are nice as well and Crackle has lots of Sony.

Kanopy is great. I'm just discovering it and realizing it's where many of the small, boutique, prestige films end up, many of which are made by the studios you listed.

I'm kind of surprised you only get 3 credits a month, though. I guess it varies from one library system to the next. I get 9 credits a month though the Los Angeles Public Library plus lots of credit free viewing. In fact, I just watched Silicon Cowboys credit free.

Hoopla, which I also get through LAPL, has a decent selection, too. I get a crazy 15 credits per month with that one. There's no way I'll ever even come close to using all the combined credits of these services in any given month.

I actually have a physical copy of that in the house but haven't popped it in yet. It's a library DVD. I have 7 other library items too. Had them for 2+ months now because of covid. My account page on the library's website says they're due on 7/1/20. The due date has been moved back several times now.

It was much better than I anticipated...

...not going to win any Oscars, but a fun movie for certain.

I live in San Bernardino County and very close to the county border so that may explain it.

Standard romcom but with likable performances from the leads. Also, I swear Rufus Sewell and Jude Law look so much alike even though they’re not brothers in the movie.

I don't think they look anything alike haha

I love this film. Nothing extraordinary z just really delightful.

Phoenix Forgotten. It’s a fictional story built around the lights that appeared over Phoenix, Arizona on March 13, 1997. Many believe the lights were extraterrestrial in origin and no explanation has ever been given as to what they were. Fascinating event and not a bad movie
