Huh. So I wonder why he had such a small part in that, I mean so many different people had a solo line or two, maybe he just didn’t want one?

I barely heard him.

Oh I can totally hear his distinctive warble, lol.

I viewed highlights of the event on CTV's website.

There was individual music performances by major and indie acts, then the virtual group music collaboration which Geddy was a part of, or celebs providing messages of awareness without performing.

cameo by one of the wasserman's....i called it

justin beiber obviously on autotune....talentless douche.

avril lavigne...it's time to ditch the heavy eye make-up, you look like a f***ing racoon.

where's alanis? celine? anne murray? jacob moon? randy bachman? gordon lightfoot? too cool to share the Canuck spotlight?

who the f**k are 2/3s of these people?

Bubbles, I love you man but it's getting to the point that you'll do anything for $20.

other than that it was totally enjoyable.

It’s honestly kinda disgraceful that crappy pop stars were directly associated with the awesomeness of Geddy.

I'll bet Geddy was thinking of the charitable cause as the main thing, it was nice of so many Canadian artists to appear. But yeah, we all know there is the Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson etc tier of artists and then there are others.

Here's the Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble page.

Scroll down the page vertically and you'll see Performances and Special Messages & More.

If you click the red arrow to the right, you can scroll horizontally and see who appears.

Some of the acts you mentioned do appear.

If you can't view the clips due to geographical restrictions, there's nothing I can do about that.

Was there a bass solo? Not interested otherwise!

Geddy didn't play bass on the song. This is a virtual ensemble cover of 'Lean On Me' by Bill Withers.

Geddy's part was filmed in this studio, where he was surrounded by some of his basses.

That's as bass as you're going to get.

Yes, that was cool to see him in his instrument room!

You can definitely hear Ged's voice when he's there... at least I can

You can hear him but just barely, because there's somebody yelling over his voice. Rush yet again has been placed on the backburner. And what is Jeremy Roenick doing in this video?

Not sure why we are all getting bent out of shape because you cant hear Geddy, whether you like it or not, he will become less and less OF a prominent figure as time goes by. The real focus is it's a message of hope here people. I'm just happy he is on the video.

Speaking of amazing people, this guy, Captain Tom Moore who I share a birthday and birthplace is Da MAN.

This is a virtual version of 'Tears Are Not Enough'.

Essentially the same thing. This time there is social distancing. Seemed like Geddy didn't seem to have is heart in it either I think he took one for the team. Poor guy.

Geddy is a good sport! And I'm not gonna lie, seeing him sing again did something nice for my heart.

It's interesting in that I have quite a bit of European heritage from my ancestors. Yet I was born in Canada. I've never grasped European humour.

You probably just willed yourself to hear it by forcing a version Closer of to the Heart into your mind.

Hahahahaha! This is for a great cause but really? Obviously Geddy's mic was turned off. I didn't hear shit. What a joke.

The pop wankers are scared of good musicians. It's like black magic to them, it's like vampires and holy water, it makes them sweat at night in their beds...

I agree. They mute the Legend and let the young singers go at it and pretty much put me to sleep.......

I need some YYZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz instead.

Earl,. I thought you and your new gal eloped. Where have you been?
