I really should be in bed, but I am watching a bootleg dvd of Frank Marino Live on Canada Day in 1998!

So here we go!!!

I am sure I left many great guitar players out but my main point is to say that so many guitar players tried to sound like Jimi.

Trower

Marino

Hanesn

EJ

Stevie

On and on and on and on..........

You decide, or perhaps you don't even care about this awesome poll.

Keep listening to RUSH and arguing about how hot Geddy Lee is. Jesus man, there is so much more out there than RUSH!

ROCK ON!

THE BLUES ROOLS!!!!!!!!!!

I almost want to put Rik Emmett in there.

I might just cock tease the cliche Rush fan and throw in Alex Lifeson just so he will win this Blues Rock Poll because we are on a RUSH FORUM! lol

"Couldn't Stand The Weather" today.

It was cold with a lot of windy rain.

I wish the Coronavirus would just go the f**k away.

No need suffer with all of this isolation pain.

When the sun breaks through and the vaccine is found

It's time to play baseball again on that sacred mound.

Time is of the essence and in the meantime listen to the blues.

Let's get drunk and party again in bars! Fukk the Covid 19 flu!

Even if you think I am crazy I really don't care what you think.

I love The Rush Forum and Pat and I bring everything including the kitchen sink.

73 is cool because he knows we love to ROCK AND TALK!

We keep this place fun and R Rated because we want to raise the stock.

Some may think that we are over the top.

But all we want to do is GO GO GO and never stop.

Rock And Roll is in our veins and I know I can't speak for Pat.

But I can understand the Rules Of Rock and this is this and that is that.

If you don't get my drift then please put me on IGNORE before causing a rift.

I love my friends on here and I like to drink beer. Sorry if you are so uptight.

Just hit the back button and get the fukk out of here, and to all a goodnight.

"The World Has The Blues"

I'm going to write that song soon.

So shoot me up at high noon.

I'm going to write that song soon.

So shoot me up at high noon

See how easy it is to write?

Well, you’ve got a lot of blues rock guitarists here, and some straight up blues guys, too.

Pick one?? Impossible!

My heart goes with Stevie Ray and Duane Allman, above all of the others. I CANNOT pick even one of those two and leave the other one out!

Damn you, Earl!! Lol...

Representing the Canadian blues rock musicians and guitarists; where's Jeff Healey, Colin James, Colin Linden, David Gogo, Tom Lavin (Powder Blues Band), David Wilcox, Long John Baldry, Mike McKenna, Mendelson Joe (both of McKenna Mendelson Mainline), and of course Pat Travers? :)

Also a shout-out to the Downchild Blues Band. The Blues Brothers covered their song 'I've Got Everything I Need (Almost)'.

Now how is Slash on here but Joe and Brad from Aerosmith aren't? Slash wouldn't be anyone without the ideas he got from those two (not dissing Slash, he'd likely agree I think).

Sorry! I love Kim Simmonds. It was late last night and I decided to only do one question with 40 selections. 40 is the maximum per question.

I originally didn't want to add Slash as you can see in my question header, but man he can play blues rock well. I thought of Aerosmith. Meh

I wanted to add Jeff and I should have. I should have expanded the list past 40 choices but I think it was "Four In The Morning."

Love,

Night Ranger

Brad Gills and Jeff Watson

More rock.

I tried to just focus on blues/rock players.
