New Pearl Jam album in March!

Hoping it’s better than the last one which was too poppy in terms of production. Won’t be surprised if at least one song is a tribute to Cornell like how Come Back from the avocado album was Eddie’s tribute to Johnny Ramone.

They should change the name of the band to Peart Jam. Just sayin'.

I seriously thought when I saw the thread title that it said ‘Neil Peart Jam album in March’.

I'm so excited! I'm going to the OKC show and thought about going to St. Louis. Hopefully they do a second leg and will come through Tulsa. I'm anxious to hear the first single which is called 'Dance of the Clairvoyants'. :D :7up: Edited by Leanne

I'm excited. Especially because the first night of the tour is in Toronto! I've seen some memorable PJ shows. My first one was in Perth, Australia, and the venue where they played was in my street. Veronica and I literally WALKED to the show. The second one was in 2011 in Rio, and the third in 2015, two days after seeing Testament and Cannibal Corpse.

I have high hopes for the new album. Didn't like the previous one very much, but the one before (Backspacer) was amazing.

I never liked Pearl Jam because they don't bring enough of the heavy guitars for my taste.

They're grunge lite.

You spelled Nickelback and Creed wrong.

Hahaha! You kill me, but thank you for a good laugh. I needed it.

I loved Pearl Jam's "Ten" record. It's a masterpiece.

After that? Meh.....

Saw the "Ten" Tour with a very young Rage Against The Machine. Amazing concert.

Saw Pearl Jam a few times after that. Wanted to fall asleep.

I with Andrew Wood never passed away. Eddie Vedder would have been working at a Seattle Burger King. LOL!

Eddie Vedder got lucky. I respect him but he's overrated.

The band would have been a lot better with Wood. JMO

I love Mother Love Bone and its crazy what happened to Andy. Pearl Jam will play Crown of Thornes every now and then. Holy Roller is a great song too!
