Any thoughts on the Brewers new old uniforms for next year? They're bringing back the mitt!

Love the mitt and ball. Should never have gone away from it.

Washington Post reports that the Nationals will sign Stephen Starsburg to a 7 year, $245 million contract.

The day is coming. $40 million per year, $50 million per year.....it's only a matter of time.

Cole to the Yanks. 9 years, 324 million.

I called it BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!! West Coast guy, lol.

I'm a little bummed to lose Gregorius though.

Cole may have trouble adjusting to the Yankee organization. I think they have rules against eating boogers in the clubhouse.

I guess it's nice to know after spending close to $3 billion in the 2010s, the answer to their WS drought is to spend more.

I've seen this movie before (Carl Pavano, AJ Burnett) but like Roadhouse, I enjoy it every time it comes on.

We shall see. He may also be Sabathia or Mussina.

How are Sale's and Price's contract prospects looking for you? Keeping Mookie?

Other than 2009, what did Sabathia get the Yankees? How much did they pay him? Mussina. lol.

They both pitched up to their deals, which is more than Price and Sale can say. The Sox are sunk for the next 4 years.

They won the series in 2018. Largely on the strength of Price, and got there because of Sale. The Sox will beat the Yankees out next year in the division. As they have for most of this century.

And now they are both washed up, yet you are on the hook for almost 300 million between the two of them. Throw in Eovaldi and his contract, the fact you're going to lose Mookie and your lack of a farm system, and the Sox are royally porked. I would gladly put money on your assertion of who will win the division next year but seeing as you backed out of the easy one last time I won't bother. You also may be losing your manager for a considerable period of time once the cheating scandal is all sorted out.

The original goat!

I do find it amusing that you guys are bashing the guy like he's already busted, when you'd gladly trade any pitcher on your team's roster for him.

Other than eating boogers I haven't picked on him. He's obviously a great pitcher. I'm also not the one responsible for the theme about it taking a special kind of player to play in front of the most entitled fans in baseball.

I’m a Red Sox fan. I’m not on the team, nor do I own them.

The Yankees will continue their run of fruitless October’s in 2020.

That is a mighty strong infield for my Angels now that they have Rendon. Good for them to make a move now that the evil empire has Cole because AC/DC 1990 hit song.

What's the point of having f**k you money if you don't say f**k you once in a while?

Why? Every winter Yankee fans start crowing about how their big free agent signing means another title. Hasn't happened in what will be over a decade now. And depending on whether you place 2000 in the 20th or 21st century, it's only happened once or twice since the turn of the century.

Not at all. But you are making blanket statements about Yankee fans and general where I am trying to argue specifics. Hence the Taurus reference. But go ahead. I'll make the same offer. Calling from 2 to 6 and convince them the Red Sox should be the favorites this year for the division. Anyone can run their mouth on a message board.
