I like your description of the Dallas NFL franchise.

I did not like the description of the Dallas NFL franchise. It hits too close to home.

They can tackle Cordarrelle Patterson really, really well... but only after he gains 33 yards!

It would be a sweet miracle for Cowgirl fans to stop bringing up the 90s. Last time they won, Hootie were the most popular band. They’re more pathetic than Yankee fans.

I don't know the Cowboys fans you know, but for my own part -- and the ones I know -- nobody's living in the '90s. We want a new glory age, maybe starting soon to replace the Patsopocene, but we are keenly aware that this team has been mired in mediocrity for 25 years. In fact, until the Cowboys went 13-3 two years ago, for the twenty seasons (!) before that, our cumulative record was .500. We're not even bad enough to really feel abused by fate. For an entire generation now, Dallas has been "blah." For a team with a national fanbase and lots of cultural cachet, it's a little surprising.

And Darius Rucker is still popular!

The Cowshits will still be in first place at 6 -7 even if the Eags win on Sunday. Quite a division there. lol.

Sad thing is either the 49ers or Seahawks with a likely record of 13-3 or 12-4 will be a Wild Card and have to travel to Dallas or Philly to play one of them

I love glitches like that.

Me too and not just because I am a Cowboys fan. For years the NFC east was the top division and other lesser teams made it to the playoffs. The underdogs make it that much more interesting.
