Many moons ago......If I had to rank the album Undertow, sober would probably be in the bottom half. Having said that, the new song is underwhelming. Lateralus is when this stuff started. I was hoping for a more streamlined album this time, but no. I couldn't even make it through the title track. What they tried to build up to did nothing for me. Mick Definitely don't start revisiting them with this track then, it's one of their least innovative tracks in many years. They have a fine catalog of songs, this just isn't one of them. Fwiw, if you liked this you would like most of the material from Lateralus and 10,00 Days [and some of the songs on Aenema]. I suggest a deep dive, especially now that their entire catalog is on Spotify. It was a hot fuckking mess. No beer, no water and no AC.I've seen TOOL in Oakland on the Arena stage.So fuckking boring.Danny Carey's drum kit looked like a Neil Peart vintage Tama with gong on that last tour I saw.
