Oh, new Tool. I'm sure it will be completely boring and underwhelming like everything they've done.

You probably like Puddle of Mudd and Smash Mouth.

Smash Mouth was a decent pop rock band. Never cared for Puddle Of Mud. Don't see what that has to do with this though.

Hoping more like Lateralus and less like 10,000 Days.

Likewise. And at this point, they might as well change the name of the band to Cicada.

Lol

Best description of them ever.

I am not a fan, dont get the vibe

But its good and had better be considering the time it took to make it....

Definitely don't start revisiting them with this track then, it's one of their least innovative tracks in many years.

Well, I'm no Toolhead ( I had Aenema out from the library once and listened to it s few times, and I also known like Schism), but I enjoyed this new song! Quite groggy in its arrangement, but ever concise in its melodic sensibility. Only criticism after one listen is it didn't get to a loud shouty refrain anywhere (that I noticed), but the mellow parts were all very well done and immersive. The beginning reminds me pleasantly of Sabbath's Planet Caravan.
