I believe The Larry Sanders Show was where I first got to know who he was. Although he's been in many things so I probably saw some stuff before that. But Larry Sanders was the big one. Usually enjoyed everything I saw him do. Didn't realize he was that old. He lived a good long life that's for sure.

I know, heard, seen, and remember him. I'm sorry, condolences, to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Rip.

Just based on his movies, he’s got a 8-0 record with me. Very good stats from a dependable actor.

:rose: R.I.P. Rip :rose:

He was absolutely brilliant in Defending Your Life...

Yeah, this was going to be the movie I mentioned. Great work in the scene where he explains that he's reading 1s and 0s, and he's not trying to be rude when he tells the Albert Brooks character, "you wouldn't understand it."

Thanks for the memories.

I only knew him from that great show, watched it all the time.

Love the show. Got in deep recently - watched the whole series in a month.

Yeah I remember it well when I was very young, one of the few HBO shows I was watching...loved Janeane Garofalo as well, it was just pure class.

Started watching The Larry Sanders show again because of Rip's passing. I'm towards the end of the second season right now and I think the show has held up well 20 something years later. Rip as Artie is certainly the highlight of the show.
