That's like asking which one of Sofia Vergara's boobs I like better. They're both equally awesome.

Now I can't even remember what I was going to post . . . .

Oh, right: so they're equally awesome music-wise, I went with "Xanadu" because _as a Poet_ Samuel Taylor Coleridge > Neil Peart . . . From "Xanadu" I got into Romanticism: Blake, Shelley, Byron; from "2112" I read Ayn Rand, and Romanticism >>>>>>>>> Ayn Rand . . .

But who's hotter?

So I'm going with Sofia Vergara > Elle Fanning > Helen Mirren (but, still) > Samuel Taylor Coleridge > Ayn Rand . . .

We need a dedicated poll thread to settle this, in the name of social science.

Xanadu is an amazing song. A top 10 Rush song for me. Problem it has in this match-up is that 2112 is my very favorite Rush song. 2112 gets my vote. BTW, in case you are curious, my top 10 would be:

1. 2112

2. Subdivisions

3. Time Stand Still

4. Freewill

5. Limelight

6. Red Barchetta

7. Tom Sawyer

8. By-Tor & the Snow Dog

9. Xanadu

10. Something for Nothing

I've decided to pick by voting for my always number one favorite Rush song "Xanadu".

Xanadu is the song I first heard in 10th grade, using headphones, that solidified Rush’s appeal to me. As for some calling it soft, it is soft and hard. The last measure of the song is bombastic, not soft!

An added bonus for me came in 12th grade, when we studied the poem Kubla Kahn in English class, of which Peart was inspired by, to write Xanadu. It has always been the epic (and I hate that word) Rush song for me. And while Olivia Newton John’s version isn’t the same caliber song, it was written by Jeff Lynne of ELO. And Olivia is a fox, so that helps.

A rare name check for Jeff and Olivia's Xanadu! :goodone:

This is one of the few match ups in Rush catalogue where I could really go either way anymore. I think I'll change my vote to make it a tie!
