20?

Yeah I couldn't do 10 so I did 20.

I might be able to get to 5, unless I go for comedic value.

You're probably surprised that I have all the tracks from KILLERS in my list. I LOVE that Killers album! In fact it was the very first KISS album I bought in 1982. Before that I just borrowed other people's KISS albums or heard them at someone else's house etc. By 1982 though I HAD to own my own KISS albums, I warmed up to them a bit late compared to some other bands. And in the middle of 1982 KILLERS was the latest album, and it was a compilation so it would satisfy me until I could eventually grab all the other albums, which would take a while. KILLERS is like my KISS version of Deep Purple's 24 Carat Purple or Sabbath's We Sold Our Souls, which were the first albums I got from those bands in the late 70's, so I did the same thing with them. The best thing about KILLERS though in the long term are those four 1982 tracks. I've always thought they were great. I don't think KILLERS was released in America so Americans possibly won't be as familiar with them. I've been listening to them on and off since 1982 and they never get old!

Kiss does not even have 20 top songs. They have maybe 2 or 3 good songs, rest is garbage. :LMAO:

I've met people who would say the same about Queen. It's all a bit subjective is't it?

The first 20 songs on their greatest hits vol #1

I am a fan and given my age how can I not be?

That said when i listen i note how SLOW it sounds.

It is surprisingly down-tempo compared to my childhood memories that remembers the songs as screaming rockers.

You must have your turntable on 16 ⅔ RPM.

Well what do you listen to nowadays that's so fast by comparison?

I'm thinking of a track like Firehouse.

Firehouse:

God Of Thunder:

Hotter Than Hell:

I don't really get it. When have Kiss ever been known for doing fast songs?

And to be honest I never notice aspects of music like tempo in terms of whether I like the song or not. The song either sounds good or bad to me. Speed doesn't really come into it.

They seemed fast, to a young kid. Heavy as well. In retrospect they really weren't.

Still good songs, though.

I was hoping some people would put Hard Luck Woman on their lists! One of their more melodic and a pretty song I think.

I've never heard of Killers until today but your mention of 24 Carat Purple made me smile. It was the one album Mr. blues grabbed, lol, when our apt. flooded and our records were stored in a crate on the floor.( 3 copies of Frampton comes alive bit the dust. . . )
