Who's Earl Ramer?

I dunno. Isn't Earl some dude with a mustache and a '73 El Camino? It figures the weirdo would like heavy metal.

Earl, if you wrote a book, I'd read it. People like us have plenty of rock'n'roll stories to tell.

Shit I've lost my "Train Of Thought." Isn't that a terrible Dream Theater Metallica cover album? LOL! PURE SHITE.

Actually if you do Google my name you will see me wearing an Oakland A's baseball cap on backwards.

I'm holding those very rare blue label Neil Peart Promark sticks that I won in a charity auction to help out children in need.

Yep!

I'm a fuckking asshole with no filter and all I do is get drunk and do drugs and pick internet fights with the weak souls in life.

For all of you RUSHHEAD HATERS OUT THERE IN LALA LAND?????

KISS MY FUCKKING WHITE ASS!

You know my last name.

Come and find me.

I'll be ready.

"WHITESNAKE"

Yup!

I've gone to far again.

For all of you little liberal lovers of Myles. Spare your lame attempts at sending me a PM.

I may stir the pot, but I am well justified in my public rants.

Really? A little twerp with more drama than a Queen calls me a "CUN"TTT. Yet that's ok? I use the F word too much. My bad. But a CU"NNT is cool to say to someone?

HYPOCRITES! LEAVE ME ALONE!

Some of you assholes want me banned? All I do is try to add some creative fun on here.

Yet I'm the bad guy.

Perhaps I should start sending Iron Man Myles an alimony check too.

Get in line.

I will never change.

LET ME THE FUKK ALONE

Trying to be cool but I can't delete this post.

I'll fight till the end.

Myles is the only human being on the earth to call my a cu*nt.

I'm not offended but I would love for that little tit to call me that to my face.

I'm an American. Fuckk you and your Millennial London Culture.

If you want to meet me in real life Myles say the word.

I don't need to hide behind a keyboard and tell you how I feel.

I will hop on my daddy's leer jet and fly over the pond to meet you.

Let me know.

You hold all the aces baby doll.

Meh. You deserved it for the truly low blows you made. I don't like you and I wouldn't run from you. You are nothing to me. Done trying to even understand you. You deserved the worst word. Talk trash bout me or my partner or my sexual preference, I don't care. You are a joke and one I am happy to not find funny. Well I guess this is my fault for taking you off ignore yesterday. Not even remotely sorry. No one else thought I was wrong, but they sure did you.

Notice how I was truly offended but have yet to threaten to spend money to waste my time meeting a low end nobody overseas to tell him how much I don't want to be around him.

Why can't we be friends?

I recommend several large bong hits for earl and myles and those chimps will be nothing but smiles...

I learned a long time ago to give back to Earl the same shit he gives to us. I believe he's come to respect me for that lol.

Leave me alone, don't want your promises no more,

cause Rock'n'Roll is my religion and my law,

won't ever change, may think it's strange,

you can't kill Rock'n'Roll, it's here to stay...

I would prefer to got to "WAR" but it truly is a waste of time. He's so fun to tease. I've tried so hard to get along with that little twerp of a boy maiden. Can't get along with everyone.

Myles reminds me of my ex wife. A low-life piece of scum with zero income who is always trying to dig it's nails deep in my skin and psyche.

I've made more money than you will ever see in your lifetime you little punk.

I'm "Nobody's Fool."

Put on your glass slipper you little tit and wait for your prince charming to take you away in a big penis pumpkin.

Signed,

You kill me brother. One of the greatest OZZY songs ever made!

Can't be friends with everyone on here! FUKK IT!

I've ruffled a lot of feathers, but I know I have more friends on here than "The Enemy Within."

He's within this Forum.

Not within my soul.

I'm good!

Going to rock and roll!

Got a hot girlfriend and I will know in a few months if I can retire!

That's all I'm saying.

I'm a nobody. A nothing.

Seriously, if things go the way I hope they go, I will be retiring. Not bad for a loser who is always drunk and on crack rock!! HAHAHA!

I will finally have time to write that book for you.

I have a screenplay in the works too.

Hot Tub Time Machine meets Hot Dog The Movie meets Hi Fidelity minus the drama. A romantic black comedy with lots of drugs, booze, skiing and rock and rucking roll!!!! LOL!

My soundtrack is done. The title of the movie is after a song by The Church.

That's all I can say!

No mustache but I love the Mustache Gang. Oakland A's baby, Catfish Hunter!

I've owned 5 Mustangs in my life.

You are close.

Now I'm an Audi guy.

Love that German Machine.

Who's Earl Ramer?

Someone who hopes his ex wife and future girlfriends never google his name.......

DR. EARL RAMER

Category: 2000 - 2010 Inductees

Year Inducted: 2006

University: University of Tennessee

BIOGRAPHY

A native of Kenton in Obion County, Earl Ramer joined the University of Tennessee faculty in 1944 as an associate professor of education. In 1958, Dr. Ramer became a faculty representative on the UT Athletics Board and three years later he became chairman of that board where he served many years. Dr. Ramer was appointed UT faculty representative to the NCAA and served as vice president from 1963 until 1968.

In 1971 and ’72, Ramer became the first and only Tennessean to serve as President of the NCAA. He was also a member of the SEC Executive Committee during the years 1962 through 1965 and was Faculty Representative for Intercollegiate Athletics to the SEC (where he served as Chairman of the SEC Committee to Revise its Constitution and By-Laws).

In its early years, Ramer served as Interim Chairman of the College Football Association. During his NCAA presidency, Ramer invited and hosted at his Knoxville home a visit by John Kelly of Philadelphia (Princess Grace’s brother), who was then national AAU president, to negotiate a settlement of conflicts between the NCAA and the American Athletics Union. It was during his second term as NCAA president that drug-testing for college athletes was proposed for regional and national championships.

Dr. Ramer was a professor at UTK for 34 years and was Head of its Department of Continuing and Higher Education for many years. The year of his retirement, at the UT-UCLA football game in Neyland Stadium, the UT Marching Band spelled out “RAMER” on the field at half-time as he was honored by various officials and dignitaries.

Upon his retirement, former Knoxville News-Sentinel Sports Editor, Tom Siler, wrote “Earl Ramer wore many hats, but nothing was more important than trying to help UT coaches keep abreast of the rules, the tangle of barbwire that is the NCAA.”

In his time, Ramer advised and counseled five head coaches in football alone – Bowden Wyatt, Jim McDonald, Doug Dickey, Bill Battle and John Majors. Concluding a long and distinguished career of leadership in public service to education and intercollegiate athletics, Dr. Ramer died in 1998 at his home in Nashville.

Hahahahahaha!

PAT! YOU KILL ME!!

My closest friends call me Ramer.

Very impressive.

PS: I am cranking "Never Say Die" by Sabbath as I type.

Duh!

This album NEVER GETS OLD!

Just like you and I Patty Cake!

Did you really find that info out on the NET or did you make it up??

You are fukking creeping me out.

As I can't disclose certain info on a public forum regardless of having no filter.

I seriously might be moving to Nashville.

Thinking about pursuing a drumming career there. Session drummer on the weekdays. Live band in clubs on the weekends.

I figure a guy like me who brainwashed himself in the 8th grade with Neil Peart grooves and am still playing to Rush albums today can easily land a session job recording for country, rock and blues artists.

I recorded an ep last summer and it was soooo much fun and so smooth.

My cd ep comes out in July.

Being a cd addict my two record stores out here who know me and love me are going to put the cd ep in their stores.

Now I know you the guy or gal who is actually reading this post right now thinks that I'm just plugging it.

Nope! Not me.

I will send copies to my friends and family for free.

It's not about the fuckking money.

I waited 38 years to record. I did.

Not sure you "Rush Fruits" will like the tunes. Of course that is now an inside joke.

But hey, The fourth song on the ep is called "Kill The Lights" and I was able to lay down a nice "Limelight" homage fill at the end of track.

RUSH O!N

Dr. Earl Ramer III my move to Nashville Pat. WOW!

Shit, I'm listening to some SWEET right now.

EPIC BAND!

What do you think of Air Dance Earl?

Hahahaha! I love "Air Dance" Pat.

By the way, I know I've been warned to have my first and last name on a public forum. Probably not safe in this wacky world and I know people on here hate me, but alas, it's all good.

I'm a conservative and I know how to "Shoot Shoot." Just like UFO. Ummm, I have been told to "Hold Your Fire" and I will. But as Michael Schenker would play, I am "Armed And Ready."

Dr. Ramer seems like a cool guy. RIP

Funny. My oldest daughter is a 4.0 student and studying physical therapy and will go to graduate school to become a doctor.

I'm actually Earl III

My dad is amazing. I am the luckiest guy on the planet.

I agree with Vapor Trailer. I should have thicker skin on here.

But I can be a dick because I do overreact and defend myself.

I was a nerd in high school. Still am a nerd.

So I have a short fuse and fire back without thinking it out first.

"Be cool or be cast out?"

I lived that song in real life back in 1982.

My parents put me in some Christian High School when I was a freshman.

All my friends went to a public school.

Then I was in some fuckking Christian School and it was so hypocritical.

Everyone was doing drugs and fukkking everyone.

1982

I was into Rush and Van Halen.

I remember being in English class in some stupid fake plastic building on the PE basketball court.

I was a total dork and nerd.

I'm playing with my pencil totally board and then all of the sudden I hear some senior in the parking lot crank "On Fire" by Van Halen of course.

I started taping my pencil to the beat and could give a fuckk about English. Ironically I majored in English at St. Mary's College.

However.

I was also playing the drums back in 1982.

True story....

I was drumming to "On Fire" in class.

Some hot blonde tapped me on the shoulder.

She whispered to me...

"Hey....... I can tell you like Van Halen. Have you ever heard of a band called Y&T?"

I said....

"No!"

DR.

EPIC BAND!

"SET ME FREE" PAT!

Yeah it's apparently real. Never heard of him myself but he's the top Earl Ramer in google so someone must have!

"Be cool or be cast out?"

I lived that song in real life back in 1982.

My parents put me in some Christian High School when I was a freshman.

Everyone was doing drugs and fukkking everyone.

I remember being in English class in some stupid fake plastic building on the PE basketball court.

I was a total dork and nerd.

I jumped on my bike like Elliot with ET in a fuckking basket and I jettisoned downtown Walnut Creek.

I went to my favorite store. The Record Exchange.

A guy there who ran it was named Bob. He looked like LEMMY!

He loved me and took me under his heavy metal wing.

Bob was such a huge influence in my life when I was a young kid.

The Record Exchange was a place of sanctuary for me even when I was a little kid.

I saved my lunch money and allowance and bought cassettes and vinyl at The Record Exchange instead.

I totally trusted Bob. I would go to The Record Exchange every day after school.

Bob would tell me what to buy and I always took his advice.

"Kill Em All."

Savatage "Sirens" Still one of the best albums ever.

Bob got me into ACCEPT yet I discovered "Breaker" thanks to a kid at my Christian High School."

Guess I wasn't always a geek.

Music was my spirt guide and body guard back then.

Some kid came up to me because he saw a RUSH doddle on my notebook.

He said...

"Hey dude, I see you like Rush. Incredible band. Have you ever heard of ACCEPT? The do a song called "Son Of A Bitch" on Breaker."

I told him no!

But I remember clear as crystal.

After school I raced to Rasputin's in Concord and I actually found a Brain Records Cassette of "Breaker."

I bought it and instantly fell in love with ACCEPT.

Then "Restless And Wild" came out.

I was hooked.

Metal is my drug of choice.

I remember taking my bike down to The Record Exchange in 1983.

I saw this strange poster of a band called RATT. It was the EP poster.

I was intrigued.

I waked inside and it was packed.

RATT was there signing autographs!!!

I had no clue who RATT was and I was a dork. Intimidated.

I didn't stick around. Too crowded.

But I did manage to buy the EP on vinyl.

Again.

I instantly fell in love with RATT.

Still today I am in love with RATT.

Then in 1983 I rode my bike to The Record Exchange and I saw another EP album cover in the window.

This time is was QUEENSRYCHE!

They were doing an autograph signing that day!

Again, I had no clue who they were.

I waked in there and the line was out the door for autos.

I talked to Bob and he sold me a Ryche EP.

I saw these five guys all dressed in black leather and boots and I didn't get in line.

instead I hightailed it on my bike back to my house.

I ran into my room and put that Ryche EP on my Pioneer stereo.

That Ryche EP blew my fucckin mind.

Alas, been a Ryche Freak FOREVER.

Do you see a pattern here?

Seeing Rush and Van Halen in 1984 at The Cow Palace when I was 16 changed my life forever.

Seeing The Who and The Clash in 1982 in Oakland when I was 14 just blew my mind.

I have a million stories like these but I know I drive many of you crazy.

As long as 73 lets me post here then I will never leave.

I've had a few issues with people on here over the years but I've always managed to get on with it and try and chill.

Too bad Myles and I can't get along but hey, I've tried.

I should write a book that not many will read.

Hell, most of my life is on this very own forum.

I really don't want to be an asshole in public, but I have no tolerance for people who go after me.

I think that's just "Human Nature." Michael Jackson? Hmmmmm

Please just ignore me.

Just press a button and I will be gone FOREVER!

As long as 73 lets me post here then I will never leave.

I've had a few issues with people on here over the years but I've always managed to get on with it and try and chill.

Too bad Myles and I can't get along but hey, I've tried.

It's life.

Life goes on.

I wish no ill will to anyone on here.

I have Captain Fantastic Fingers with a short fuse.

I'm not innocent.

Just give me MUSIC!

"Long live rock I need it everyday!"

Goodnight in the "Peaceable Kingdom."

"Ceiling Unlimited."

See?

An album I hate, yet still quote.

I loved "Vapor Trails" when it came out.

Sadly it doesn't stand up to the test of time stand still.

"Hold Yer Fire" people.

RUSH RULES!

EPIC BAND!

"SET ME FREE" PAT!

Yeah it's apparently real. Never heard of him myself but he's the top Earl Ramer in google so someone must have!

I said....

"No!"

She whispered sweetly in my left ear.....

"You need to go downtown Walnut Creek after school and get "Black Tiger" on vinyl"

So....

Duh

I jumped on my bike like Elliot with ET in a fuckking basket and I jettisoned downtown Walnut Creek.

I went to my favorite store. The Record Exchange.

A guy there who ran it was named Bob. He looked like LEMMY!

He loved me and took me under his heavy metal wing.

Bob was such a huge influence in my life when I was a young kid.

I asked him about "Black Tiger" by Y&T and he sold me a used lp copy.

I fell in love with Y&T that same day.

Decades later I am friends with the band.

I knew Leonard, Joey and especially Phil too over the decades.

Amazing guys. I love them all.

I love Turbine Freight reads this post.

Anyway it is what it is.

I was born at the right time for me.

Although I missed hundreds of shows at Winterland, The Stone and even the Fillmore.

But I've been blessed Johnny Blaze. Not Cursed at all.

I should write a book that not many will read.
