tangy
Rod, are you going to tell us how the show was or what? It was great, even though the first half had a few low points. I have no idea why they brought out a boring song like A Nightmare to remember, which takes 16 minutes off the set, when there are many other better songs that could be played. Scenes was amazing though, and Labrie was surprisingly consistent throughout. Because there are many many fans who love that song. My son....that is his absolute favorite and this is his first show.....and he has no idea they are playing it (I will not let him see a setlist). I love when fans sit and ask why waste 16 minutes....dude...it is not your setlist. It is everyone's setlist and the band did a great job making sure they hit a few areas. Like i indicated earlier not my fave and i do think they played it the last time i saw on the bcsl tour. Stoked for your son. My sons first show was the last prog nation tour. Age 11, 3rd row center. He liked the count of Tuscany. Although zappa plays zappa left more of an impression Enjoy
ytserush
Have to say Zappa Plays Zappa was the band to see on that tour. Dream Theater was great too, but their set wasn't as long as it traditionally is.
stoopid
Zappa's music live blew my mind, and I was already a fan.
tangy
I saw the zpz tour prior to prog nation at the same venue. It was the first zpz tour and there were more zappa alumni and they plaued eith videos of frank soloing on a few tunes. That show was more expensive that dt,zpz, big elf and scale the summit. Anyways i read about the bizarre world of frank zappa. A hologram tour starting soon
