Derek19
I saw, and watched that, and the official trailer for "Avengers: Endgame".
Principled Man
I saw Captain Marvel today, and nothing from that film gave me any worries about Carol Danvers and her role in Endgame. Carol Danvers may be one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, but she is not all-powerful. Based solely on what I saw in Captain Marvel, Danvers is not more powerful than Thor. The negativity that Brie Larson and this film has been getting is undeserved. Avengers: Endgame will be just fine with Carol Danvers in it. :haz: :haz:

(1) I had no real issues with Brie Larson as Danvers. (2) I have somewhat of a concern with Captain Marvel in Endgame given how they really overdid it with the “girl power” theme in Captain Marvel. That is, a) they sex changed Mar-Vell/Walter Lawson from the comics into Mar-Vell/Wendy Lawson/Annette Bening, b) overemphasizing the entire girl/feminine angle (3) My other issue with the Captain Marvel movie was the role they gave the Skrulls. It was like they did half a great job and the other half they just dropped the ball. Still, Endgame should be fine. One big thought is who will be on the Avengers roster post-Endgame and how will the big 3 of the Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Thor) be used from now on. I've seen too much already. :laughing yellow guy: All I know is that Endgame will be quite different from Infinity War, which is a GOOD thing. The end of the Avengers Saga will definitely need three hours to complete. I am ready for ANYTHING!

JohnnyBlaze
Another film for man-babies.....can't wait. You’re not paying attention - the movies are watched by man-babies, little kids, teens, and women. It’s going to make $2 billion plus at the box office like its predecessor did. Man-babies can’t put up those numbers even after multiple viewings.

Men, women, children, teenagers, young adults, old adults, and all others who love to immerse themselves in Science Fiction & Fantasy. It's not for everyone, and not everyone should be expected to dig these films. It's just entertainment, after all. :haz: :haz:
Principled Man
Avengers: Endgame had its World Premiere at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Monday, April 22nd. Disney converted the convention center's Hall K for the film's premiere, working with Dolby and QSC Audio to install a 70 foot (21 metres) screen, Dolby Vision projectors, and a Dolby Atmos sound system. The convention center also held the premiere's red carpet arrival and after party. The seal has been broken! Let the avenging flow!!

No potty breaks for me during this 3-hour opus!! Bring your piss jug! Where did you see that it’s 3 hours and 27 minutes? The bits I’ve read have put it around 3 hours and 1 or just a few minutes. In any case, I’m sure they’ll need the 3+ hours to close off the original Avengers’ storylines from Phases 1 to 3. So far, it’s at 96% approval rate off 282 reviews on RottenTomatoes. For the most part, I agree with the numbers found on RT. Hopefully, I will again in this case. Edited April 26, 2019 by JohnnyBlaze
