I enjoy them on one of our local nostalgia stations- can't remember if it's ME TV, or Antenna TV or Cozi . . . one of those!

No, they are over the air channels that we get on the little second tv in the back of the house. We were too cheap to ever get it hooked up to cable so when antennas changed we got an over the air antenna , similar to this- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FVLXHYV/ref=psdc_172665_t1_B00IF70QCW

It gets you channels in HD and pulls in 14 channels from the surrounding area for us, which is pretty good considering it is just stuck to the wall and not near a window or anything. The main channels near us- Fox 43, ABC 27, NBC 8 and CBS 21 all have digital numbers on the over the air thing, like 27.1, 8.1 etc. But they also sponsor "extra" channels, which are the nostalgia channels- 43.2, 27.2, 27.3, 27.4. etc. They have a lot of 70's and 80' sitcoms etc. and I think one of them runs Svengoolie horror host with movies on Saturdays.

Some of the shows late at night are soooo old, it's probably why I turn them on, it makes me feel like a kid again in some kind of reassuring way. Leave It To Beaver, Andy Griffith etc. I guess nothing ever really disappears! But anyway the antenna thing is just about the size of a heating pad and goes into the cable/antenna in jack thing on the back of the tv.

Your area probably has some or all of these channels also! But I think if you wanted to try an over the air antenna (they are like $25.00) you might have to get an A/B TV splitter switch so that you could have cable and the antenna hooked up at the same time. (On our TV anyway that's what would have to happen.).

I go exclusively digital. Can’t remember what I purchased last but I rented Snatched on Redbox On Demand yesterday. Only seeing it for the return of one of my childhood comedy favorites, Goldie Hawn, considering how badly reviewed it was.

Rented Wilson and Belmont Expirement recently as well.

It's the only way to go if you want free access to 24hr reruns of Mork and Mindy, CHiPs, and Threes Company. :ebert:

I'm jealous! I always liked CHiPS ! :ebert: :ebert: We definitely have the Mork and Mindy and Three's Company but I haven't seen CHiPS (yet!). I like those shows, but I have to be in the mood to put up with all of the senior citizen commercials!

I'm on the last Magnum p.i. season, getting ready for the Diagnosis Murder series...I miss DVD! I've been watching him since 'The Dick Van Dyke show' in the 'early '60s! not to mention 'Mary Poppins'. I didn't see 'Chitty, Chitty, Bang Bang until in the '90s on cable...
