g under p
The Patriots are lucky but just maybe they make or create their own luck. It's been 47 years I've been a fan, back when they were bad or worse than the Cleveland or the Saints franchise of the 70's. That said it's going to be a great game, even though the Patriots are probably the MOST hated team in pro sports. One thing for sure they will definately give sports fans a close nail biting game. goose
Brady = GOAT.Sadly, you're correct. Not sadly, imo. Patriots star went to Chiefs' locker room to speak to Patrick Mahomes after game Classic game, "classy" gesture afterward. When the Patriots beat the Chiefs in overtime to reach the Super Bowl, Tom Brady made an unusual move in regard to opposing quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Reporter Jeff Darlington of ESPN tweeted that "Brady just quietly approached a security guard waiting outside the Chiefs' locker room—and asked if he could see Patrick Mahomes." Then "Brady was escorted into a room where he spoke briefly with him. A very clear display of respect from one incredible quarterback to another." Class move by a true sportsman. http://www.newser.com/story/270228/tom-bradys-classy-gesture-to-losing-qb.html?utm_medium=referral&utm_source=idealmedia&utm_campaign=newser.com&utm_term=68744&utm_content=2330132
Derek19
I hope, and want to see the Los Angeles Rams beat by winning Super Bowl Fifty-three against the New England Patriots. I want to start seeing other teams win particular, important games instead of New England.
g under p
6PM I believe since 2001 some 18 years ago, the PATRIOTS have played in HALF of the Super Bowls. That may never be done again.

In the case of the conference final, the Pats benefited from an act of sheer stupidity by the KC Cheifs. KC had the game won -- up by three with less than a minute to go, and they had just intercepted Brady. At that point, all they had to do to beat the Pats was pretty much nothing. They had it. Just run the clock out. But the interception was negated by a KC lineman who was about a mile and a half offside. He was so far offside it's unfathomable that he didn't notice. Interception negated, Pats get a second life from almost certain death, and they march down the field for the winning TD. Sure it took great skill and resolve to get that TD with less than a minute to go, but holy shit, did the Cheifs hand them that second chance.

Back in 2007, the Ravens had the Patriots beat during the regular season. They stopped them on 4th down with about a minute left. BUT, their defensive coordinator had called timeout on the sideline just before the snap, so the refs negated the play. The Patriots then made the 1st down and went on to win the game. The Ravens' players were quite irate.....

And also the fact that there were about half as many teams in the leagues, one or two rounds of playoffs and a decent percentage of great players were not allowed to play.
