Presto-digitation
Asylum. Even the worst Kiss album has sever tracks I enjoy, and this is no exception, but this album - on the whole - is my least.

treeduck
A tie between "Hot in the Shade" and "Unmasked".Unmasked? That's chock full of great tunes! A TON of great Ace tunes particularly, like Talk to Me and Torpedo Girl!

Rick N. Backer
I actually think the hair metal period has some of their strongest songs. The Elder for me, with Unmasked right behind it. A concept album from a rock band that sold comics and action figures was not a good idea.
GeddyLeeRoth
1. Animalized (totally under rated)2. The Elder3. Lick It Up4. Asylum5. Unmasked (catchy as hell )6. Crazy Nights (way over-polished production, but has good songs)7. Creatures Of The Night (way over rated IMO, 3 great songs, the rest unmemorable)8. Hot In The Shade (RIP Eric Carr)
Derek19
I've liked "Unmasked", "Music From the Elder", and "Creatures of the Night". I haven't liked their without makeup of "Lick It Up", "Animalize", "Asylum", "Crazy Nights", and "Hot In the Shade". If I had to pick just between those five, I would choose all five of them, but since it is one, I've picked "Asylum". RUSHHEAD666
For it's definitely Hot in the Shade. Holy Cat Shit Pat! We totally agree again!!!!! WOW! "NOT IN THE SHADE!" Pure SHITE! St. AngerVapor Skidmarks Hot In The ShadePure shite. Funny I'm seeing KISS in 9 days!!! CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! I can't believe I saw that KISS put out yet another greatest hits comp called KISSWORLD. Crazy Crazy Cash Grab Crabs! I love "Asylum." Saw that tour with WASP opening. Cow Palace. Place was half empty. Even Paul made a few sarcastic remarks. Loved seeing Eric Carr's drum solo on his monster red kit. Amazing how Neil PeartEric CarrSimon Phillips All had monster red drum kits back then. A waste of vinyl I thought when I bought it. And It doesn't even look like a KISS album. If they'd said later that it was a collection of outtakes from the last three albums it would've made sense. There are a couple of decent songs hidden somewhere on there, but that's another thing there's too many songs on it, I think there's 15, that's about 12 too many. It's not Hot in the Shade it should have been called NOT KILLERS All FILLER! And if you notice they didn't bother to remaster it in 1997 with the other ones, they stopped after Crazy Nights, so that says it all.

I totally agree! "HATE IN THE SHADE!" LOL! "Hide Your Heart was written by Ace right? It's also on the "Trouble Walkin'" album. The ACE version is much better. "Forever" is a ok Paul ballad hit. RUSHHEAD666
I noticed KISS did a new cash grab release for this new tour. It's a 20 track Greatest Hits expanding their entire career.Even featuring "I'm A Legend Tonight" on the "KILLERS" album. Funny Pat how you wrote "NOT KILLERS ALL FILLERS!" "KILLERS" is all filler to me as well! Of course there is nothing from "Hot In The Shade" on this compilation. Give me "KILLERS" by Maiden! DUH! ALL KILLERS ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG!!!!!!! My favorite Maiden album.
