Official KC Chiefs Thread!

It was a great game, with both QBs playing well and the Seattle defense bringing the pressure and making key plays in the secondary.

Can't wait till next week.

Mahomes threw for 281 yards, highlighted by a 67-yard TD pass to Tyreek Hill and an 89-yard scoring strike to Demarcus Robinson. That gave the Chiefs' first-year starter 5,097 yards and 50 touchdown passes, joining Peyton Manning as the only QBs to hit 5,000 and 50 in the same season.

Defense had a good showing as well...

Derek Carr had his league-leading streak of 332 passes without an interception snapped when the Chiefs' Daniel Sorensen returned a pick for a touchdown in the first quarter. Carr threw another pick and lost a fumble as Oakland (4-12) turned the ball over on its first four possessions.

Special credit to Jared Cook of the Raiders with the hustle play of the year on the Sorensen interception. He was kind of the anti-Benjamin Watson just then.

Blocked punt for a TD for the Colts. 17-7. Given the Chiefs recent playoff history, is some unease settling in? Edited by laughedatbytime

Dammit...had avoided this thread all day ( I was helping a friend move...a seven-hour process). I see that Narps has posted, press click as the ball is ion the air...and touchdown Colts.

At least they missed the extra point...after Vin going 70/70.

Well, the Colts had plenty of chances, but the much maligned Chiefs D came up big virtually every time.

The Road to the Super Bowl runs through Arrowhead.

And everybody’s favorite team is making travel plans.

Are they going to do something different this time?

Because they had a 3-5 record on the road vs the Dolphins, Jets, Bills, Titans, Jags, Lions, Bears, and Steelers, combined record of 56-69-1.

Theres no such thing as a comfortable bet involving the NFL.

If they had played head to head this year maybe we’d have something to work off.

They did but we have to adjust for it being played in a different venue. So in the previous meeting the home team won by 3. That same team underperformed on the road by 16 ppg against teams they played home and road. Make of that what you will.

I think the Chiefs will win. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Patriots win comfortably.

Dont disagree with that. i just hope Reid keeps the pedal down if they get up early, not like yesterday where they kept giving the Colts chance after chance.

Incidentally, the OTHER team no team really wants to see is on top in NO.

But for how long? Momentum has clearly shifted.
