I'm fully ready for my enthusiasm to be renewed. If they can have something like Dramatic Turn or the self titled I'll be very happy. I don't think the band lost it they just made a huge misstep on the last album and tour to support it.

i've heard my fav bands release duds then come right back.for DT that was me from Black Clouds (hated it on release) and Turn of Events (loved it)

So i've seen DT do it before.

black clouds I must confess I only remember count of tuscany but I dug that enough to remember digging the record

Mekong Delta are better.

I joined a recent thrash metal group on Facebook to discover more bands. So far so good!

theater are outclassed by everybody from psychotic waltz to thought industry to voivod to fates warning to sacred blade to watchtower, the list goes on

ALL THOSE BANDS WERE RECOMMENDED TO ME!

Now I like Voivod. Watchtower...any album in particular?

Must day though that Mekong Delta are easily my favourite thrash metal band right now. I cannot believe how amazing Dances Of Death is! In fact, the first five albums are all exceptional!

energetic disassembly is my favorite, control and resistance is just as good though

Saving on Spotify.

Loving Death again. Testament...maybe not as impressive as I recalled after a few revisits. I really like Kreator and I absolutely enjoyed listening to Sabbat again.

but yeah keep digging. so many metal fans just stop at queensryche and dream theater

I barely started on either. Seriously I like a bit of DT but I have yet to hear anything that wasn't done better BEFORE!
