Kill, Ride, Puppets and Justice from Metallica.

Almost....it started to go a little Pete Tong with Justice, but stellar otherwise.

If Justice had Cliff on it, everyone would consider it their best album.

Actually, that might even hold true if Justice had Jason on it. ;)

Totally. Depending on mood I might exchange Kill for the Black Album. Great album and awesome tour. Friggin' awesome.

Out of the List? Rush. VH makes it tough, though. Prime stuff through 1984. I love Zep. They never made a bad album, though there are some tracks I can do with out on I, II, and Houses. Doesn't quite make it a 4-album run that way.

My others would include Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age, Monster Magnet, ELO, Judas...

Sin After Sin

Stained Class

Hell Bent For Leather

British Steel

I know it’s heresy to the real fans, but I would take British Steel through Defenders as Priest’s best run.

I guess I have t hear what all the fuss about Defenders and Point Of Entry is now.

The Who - The Who Sell Out, Tommy, Live at Leeds, Who's Next, Quadrophenia (yeah, that's five in a row)

For Rush, I'd say their best four in a row are A Farewell to Kings through Moving Pictures.

The first four Talking Heads albums are a great run, too.
