Pat!

I can't believe you don't have your annual SAINTS Thread this year unless it's on page 2.

Sorry!

I watched tonight's game and I am sooooooo ANTI-NFL but I had to watch Drew. The man is THE MAN! Beautiful wife and kids.

Instant Hall Of Famer!

I love the guy!

Congrats Pat!

As a fan of the Broncos, I distinctly remember that game in 2005 .. It was the final game of the season, a meaningless game for the Chargers as they had already been eliminated from the playoffs and the Broncos had already wrapped up the division ..

Chargers' HC Marty Schottenheimer and GM AJ Smith were completely at odds, with Smith having acquired his QB in Philip Rivers and Marty wanting to continue starting Brees ..

Even though that final game was meaningless, Marty insisted on starting Brees who promptly got hit and, in a pretty ugly incident, had extensive damage done to his throwing shoulder ...

As a Bronco fan - and a fan of the NFL - I was mortified at seeing Brees suffer an injury that looked career ending esp in light of the fact that the Chargers had taken in Rivers to be the future of the franchise ..... Brees was playing in the final game of his rookie contract, and it sure seemed bad ..

Chad Pennington all over again

More than 1,700 miles away in Birmingham, renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews watched a replay of Brees going down. "I thought, my God, what an injury," says Andrews. Four days later he examined Brees and diagnosed a rare 360-degree tear of the labrum, the ring of cartilage around the entry to the shoulder joint. During surgery Andrews discovered a deep, partial rotator cuff tear. He says the damage in Brees's shoulder joint represented "one of the most unique injuries of any athlete I've ever treated."

.. the following offseason, the lowly Miami Dolphins passed over Brees in favor of Daunte Culpepper ....

Brees signed with the Saints - who had been displaced because of Hurricane Katrina - none of it looked good

The Saints went on to win a SB, and the rest is history

One of the greatest players in the history of the NFL

I don't bother doing a thread on here now because I'm too lazy to do it and there's nothing but Packers fans and Pats fans on here and they hardly post now anyway.

That sucks buddy! You should never stop posting or threading! F THE HATERS!

A bit of trivia that was the first time an NFL game finished with a score of 43-19, the 1042nd unique score.

That's crazy!!

I watching the crappy Whiners after my Raiders took a shit again on Sunday and the Cards lead the Whiners 21-12!

51-50 is Van Hagar or insanity.

What about 66-6 Pat?

I think the SAINTS have scored 60 against the Colts with Manning! Actually it was 62-7 when Manning was injured on the sidelines and Curtis Painter was the QB.
