What Song Will They Be Playing on Your Elevator Ride Down to Hell?

If I were going to Hell, it would probably be some insufferable mashup of Justin Beiber's Baby with The Chainsmokers Closer, with a dash of Carly Rae Jepson's Call Me Maybe.

Hopefully assuming I'm going to Heaven, probably via Purgatory, we're talking Made In Heaven by Queen, and basically the most beautiful music imaginable.

Unfortunately in no scenario is it heavy metal, though that would be wicked cool.

Since there isn't a hell or heaven, I won't bother having anything played specifically about those fictional places. A song that comes to mind is "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" by Warren Zevon. Probably "Haitian Divorce" by Steely Dan too. After that, I don't know.

Can't really warm up to the concepts either. Just another way of asking, which song sets your teeth on edge...

If it's not metal than it wouldn't be a proper decent.

Not sure what you mean there, lol.

If you mean it aught to be metal, see it can't be, cuz I like Metal, and God and the Devil wouldn't want me enjoying my ride to Hell, no matter how sacrilegious the music. It would have to be something I utterly despise, and I cannot say that about Slayer.

"In the Summertime/In the Year 2525" medley as played by the inimitable Kenny G, with a quasi/queasy Latin feel.

My elevator to Hell song would be a polka cover of the Steve Smith classic “Johnny, what musical instrument do you play?” because in Hell you can’t get enough “oom-pah”s and tubas.
