Closing 3s of the 90s Albums

Ugh. Can't pick any of them.

 

How far the band fell in less than 20 years... :sigh:

 

I would be OK with never hearing anything off this list again. In fact I'm well on the way to doing so.

There are three songs that I like from those listed (Ghost..., Leave..., Cold Fire), but they aren't indispensible. The rest are completely disposable.

Counterparts wins this one for me. I love 2 of the 3 songs a LOT.

Voted RTB because while Cold Fire is my favorite out of all of those songs, RTB has Ghost of a Chance AND Neurotica, where Counterparts only has Cold Fire and TFE only has Limbo

• 1. LTTA (Geddy rocks it, especially live) and Cold Fire and Everyday Glory are in the top half of my Rush catalog favs.
  
• 2, Resist (like the variance in the recorded and live, acoustic (see Rush in Rio) version, Carve Away the Stone is catchy and lyrically solid
  
• 3. After Dreamline, Bravado and RTB, RTB falls off drastically.

The T4E trio win here, though it's pretty slim pickings.......In the third poll I was forced to vote as it was a required option, but there are no songs on any of the albums I would rate a B or higher.

Can't vote. They all suck, so none are my favorite and none are a C- or higher, let alone B-.

If I had a choice, it is close between the compact disks, and albums of "Test For Echo", and "Counterparts", which would go: 1.) Test For Echo - Resist, Limbo, and Carve Away the Stone. 2.) Counterparts - Leave that Thing Alone, Cold Fire, and Everyday Glory. 3.) Roll the Bones - Ghost of A Chance, Neurotica, and You Bet Your Life. I wouldn't, couldn't, and can't give up on hearing those songs, again. For grading a B, or higher, I felt I couldn't really do that. The song "Resist" might be one of my favorites from "Test For Echo". For mixing the last three songs on "Roll the Bones", "Counterparts", and "Test For Echo", I would put them like this: "Ghost of A Chance", "Cold Fire", "Resist", "Neurotica", "Leave that Thing Alone", "Limbo", "You Bet Your Life", "Everyday Glory", "Carve Away the Stone".
