I finally did it, I finally bought a KC album. I saved my money and shelled out for In The Court Of The Crimson King.

Loving it so far.

Iron Maiden - Piece Of Mind

Revelations wouldn't be worse if it were a little shorter.

Flight Of Icarus wouldn't be worse if it were a little longer/less dense

Quest For Fire and Sun And Steel are kinda meh.

The production sounds like it was rushed.

but everything else is absolutely amazing and I love it. Those are my very only complaints. To Tame A Land is now in the upper echelon of Maiden tunes for me.

Marillion:

Script For A Jester´s Tear

Fugazi

Misplaced Childhood

Clutching At Straws

B Sides Themselves

All early 80s vinyl record pressings in GREAT quality.

And then I also bought the stereo vinyl record The Beatles box set from 2012 for a good price, used but the vinyl records have only been played once! And I got it for less then half price, and that is a great deal!

Done in the first half of the year, but no estimated shipping date. That's fine, but how much longer do we plan to keep this going? The only way I will acknowledge a new Tool album is if it's in my hands and I'm listening to it. So until then, I can't be hyped.

How many Megadeth albums is that for you now? Youthanasia has some good stuff on it but it was also the beginning of their commercial phase. Most of the songs follow the same format. Not many twists and turns musically but still good solid stuff.

That's only album number four. Looking at SFSGSW next.

I'd argue Countdown was the real start. It was way more catchy, hooky than RiP was

True but Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings were way more commercial overall.

Yeah, just In My Darkest Hour a few times. Great song. But I've heard the whole album is kinda inconsistent.

Gave Stone Temple Pilots new (and second) self-titled album a run this morning.

I can dig this new singer. Hopefully he won't hold them back in the ways that Scott did. He's a worthy replacement for that troubled soul.

Finally picked me up a copy of Vapor Trails, now my collection is actually complete, lol.

Also:

Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers (to replace my glitchy CD)

Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation

Vapor Trails is the Rush album that means the most to me personally.

My favourite Rush album is possibly still Hold Your Fire.

I enjoy it now more than I used to. Definitely some of his most connective lyrics.

My dad doesn't care much for it though, oh well. AFTK is still our favorite.
