My experience with trying to watch previous things on CBC streaming is that it is blocked if you are in the US, but you never know, you can try! At least we should get to see a few new photos next week.

I’ve been unable to watch CBC online at times, even though I’m a resident!

I assume that Stephen “Sniffles” Page will be there. :P

It sounds like they are getting together with him for the honor! I have only tried CBC for Murdoch Mysteries, lol, and it is always blocked for that. We have to watch it on Acorn TV.

Murdoch Mysteries is a hugely controversial show here, with many people arguing that it really should be in black and white because of its time period, and others screaming that it should be sepia. This has led to it being banned in Labrador, the Madeleine Islands, and the lesser parts of New Brunswick. PEI actually likes it in colour!

Murdoch is also rumoured to be on the new 5$ bill with the Barenaked Ladies pictured on its reverse (but with S Page transformed into a mukluk).

None of this is true and I have only wasted your time. :(

Video of Geddy Lee inducting the Barenaked Ladies into the 2018 Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the Juno Awards.

I should also mention that The Barenaked Ladies performed their hit songs 'One Week' and 'If I Had $1000000' in the end. The second song featured a finale of guests onstage which included Jann Arden, Jim Cuddy and members of Northern Touch and The Jerry Cans. I DIDN'T see Geddy onstage for that.

Last Sunday I met a local music critic who mentioned on his Twitter page that he saw this band live called 'Toque' perform last Saturday at the Railway Stage & Beer Café in Vancouver as part of 'JUNOfest'.

Toque are a cover band who play Canadian classic rock songs live, by acts such as Queen City Kids, Streetheart, Chilliwack, Aldo Nova, Saga, Loverboy, Platinum Blonde, Harlequin, April Wine, Orphan, Kim Mitchell, Honeymoon Suite, Trooper, Rush, The Guess Who, Bryan Adams, Red Rider, Neil Young, Kick Axe.

Toque performed a cover of 'Tom Sawyer' at the above mentioned event and other hit songs by the above acts with special guest appearances.
