J2112YYZ
Hatch, did he do the scream at the beginning of Billion Dollar Babies? I'd be surprised if he did. That would be touch on his throat at his age. I mean doing it once in a while is one thing, but on tour for months and nights on end is something else. How do you do BDB without Donovan? He doesn't do the scream live. He does the song just fine without Donovan. I doubt a lot of fans even know he was a guest on the song. I'm a huge fan and didn't even know about that until a couple years ago when someone mentioned it in this thread I believe. Always thought it was Alice who sang it since he did do a lot of odd things with his voice back then.

Mosher
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdsevtSO_FU Normally I'd say that isn't different enough to be pointful, because I generally like covers to diverge from the source more, but I loved this. He sounds great here.

J2112YYZ
Just got tickets for 15 August at PNC - Holmdel, NJ!!! Front row baby! What do you think about this being a co-headling tour with Halestrom? I know they've become pretty popular over the last several years but I don't think they've reached the status where they can co-headling with somebody like Cooper.

My only fear is the dreaded shortened set list.

Entre_Perpetuo
Since I've been getting into Cooper's classic albums a bit over the past few weeks, I happened to look into his touring schedule and noticed I might (maybe) be able to make a show of his around Thanksgiving this year. So is the general consensus that his live show is worth seeing?

Lol The guy rarely takes long breaks from the road so him and his band are always in top form. He's switched up his setlist too. He's always been great at mixing the hits with the deep cuts.

As you may have noticed, I usually don't participate in the rank albums threads. Mainly because I find them hard to do once an artist has more than 10. Cooper has like 30 of them, no way I'm going to try and compile a list that big. Maybe the cat can do it.

Just give Killer or Billion Dollar Babies a listen and then you'll know whether you want more I think. I suppose Welcome To My Nightmare would also be a good test.
