The A Team:

- The Deer Hunter

- Alien

- Halloween

And after really disliking Rain Man, I've come around to appreciate Dustin Hoffman .. Straw Dogs, All The President's Man and Marathon Man are all exceptional and his performances are great ... So I've got to get around to seeing Kramer Vs Kramer sometime soon ..

I've seen just about every other movie in contention, but of these, only The Deer Hunter, Alien and Halloween get the A

I'd give The Warriors, Manhattan, Boys From Brazil, Dawn, Mad Max, Phantasm, Invasion, The Omen II, Tourist Trap, Interiors all As

I've gotta see Eyes Of Laura Mars and The Onion Field again but both could be there too

Still hard to believe that Interiors is a Woody Allen film. I probably wouldn’t give it an A though. I put it down as a solid B in my grade book.

NONE ARE BETTER THAN "HALLOWEEN!"

Good to see that I am not alone!

The third section is the most telling. But the percentages there should be looked at more closely as opposed to the percentages which are seen at a glance.

All of the flicks have been voted as being better than Halloween.

6 out of 10 voters said Animal House is better.

7 out of 10 said Deer Hunter is.

The scariest stat: 1 person even said Jaws 2 is better than Halloween.

Chew on that Earl.

We've known that since 1977.

First time I saw Halloween I was at an 8th grade slumber party. 7 or so girls all vying to be farthest from the door (where the boogeyman would make his entrance, of course) and all of us trying to hide behind the couch...we were scared shitless. *Sigh* Good times, man. Good times.
