Sorry Earl. Genesis fronted by Gabriel never released a song that deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as anything on MP.

Wow! What a bold statement! I'm in shock!!!!

"Supper's Ready" is better than anything on MP!!

Gabriel fronted Genesis does nothing for me. To be honest, his solo stuff. other than So and Us, doesn't either.

No. I'm not a huge prog fan, and I don't love Gabriel's voice. I do enjoy So and Us though.

So is amazing. And I like what I've heard of Us.

Beyond that, Gabriel is hit and miss with me, Genesis included. I much prefer Collins-fronted Genesis.

(Solsbury Hill is brilliant)

Supper's Ready isn't the only thing Genesis did that's possibly better than anything on MP.

Absolutely

Everything On Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England, and Lamb and Trick and Wind blow MP away!

Not bloody likely!!

Suppers ready is decent. Musical Box kicks ass. But TCE is one of my favorites from Rush. So TCE it is!

Lol, I'm not prepared to go that far Earl! :P

But yeah, MP isn't the be all end all, much as I love it. I'd probably put Supper's Ready above YYZ, that being my fav track on MP, and I wouldn't be discontent with a couple other songs as well...maybe Get 'Em Out By Friday...maybe Dancing With The Moonlit Knight...I could possibly see Firth Of Fifth or Watcher Of The Skies as well...

And much of what's on those albums does blow TCE away, sorry.

Well when it comes to 10 minute epics, I'm sorry I'm going to have to go off the board - weighing in at 10m 26s.... Achilles Last Stand!!

I actually totally agree! EPIC!

Achilles Last Stand just floored me the first time i heard it,i kept on playing it,it took me a few days to hear the rest of the album. The Music Box is great but Suppers Ready and Firth of Fifth are better. It took me awhile to get into the Camera Eye but it gets my vote.

Be very careful! I watched the Disney flick "Coco" last night! Amazing! So remember, even when I'm dead I will always haunt you...........

I will always try to cross that "Bridge Of Sighs" to bother you.

Ghostly Yours,
