Black high tops

White high tops

Solid black high tops

American flag John Varvatos high tops

Grey low

Camouflage low

Red low

Yup. I have 5 pairs. Al high tops. Black, white, blue, red, and purple. Got the purple ones about 6 months ago. The others are probably at least 20 years old. Blue ones are so faded, they look white now.

I've never owned the OG canvas version but had a pair of suede ones many years ago. I no longer wear any of those because I'm an adult over the age of 30, plus, they're terrible for people with even the slightest arch. "But Geddy wore them". So what? he also had a soul patch and still wears a freakin' scarf.

I don't wear them to concerts, hiking or to the city...but pretty much everywhere else. Some of the newer ones have better support. But I normally take the insoles out and replace them with better insoles for support.

oh hells yes. Got different colors all through the years. I wore those bitches playing basketball in high school.

I even got some Chuck IIs with arch support a few years ago, but they're still pretty rough on my feet. Unfortunately, my feet are getting beyond the point where I can wear them regularly.

in my family, the running joke was what color my chucks would be this Thanksgiving.

Even had a plaid pair and a camo pair.

  the Chucks! I used to have the white low tops, and a blue canvas pair also. I wore them a lot but ended up switching to running shoes after awhile because of the lack of arch support. My daughter that went to art college had quite a few. My favorite were made of a fuzzy fabric that had a weird giraffe print on it!

I believe I have owned prokeds but not CTs. I have seen Beatle and other band hi-tops, but I always think twice before I buy them because I'll never wear them and I think I'm too old to anyway. :codger:

I humbly disagree...you can totally rock them! :)

You mean you look like an old man so you would look ridiculous in them?

I've been told I look like a typical 50 something male so wearing Chucks would make it appear I would be trying too hard to hold on to my youth. Frankly, I don't care what people wear but if you're well into middle age and look like it, I'm going to laugh under my breath if you're wearing Chuck Taylors or have purple hair or are wearing a halter top or have numerous piercings or any number of other things. And if you're a woman of a certain age and are wearing those with a dress or skirt, I may laugh out loud. Roll the bones!

People let numbers and calendars, two man-made constructs, rule their perceptions of who and what they are. The human body though is not a man-made construct and it's biology and automatic systems know nothing of numbers and years and calendars and they cannot affect them in any way. Unless you allow them to affect your mind.
