I think ged did a short tour for MFH. Pretty sure of it. I dont recall alex touring for victor though?

Neither of them played any of those albums live. Geddy did a promo tour of record stores I believe, but he was only signing stuff not singing stuff.

I believe Geddy planned a tour for MFH but scrapped it because Neil called and said he was ready to do Rush again and that took priority.

I am going to research this some more

The most I’ve ever heard was from a Geddy interview at the time. He didn’t mention any “plan”. It was more like things were “being considered.” The interviewer asked about playing at smaller sized venues/clubs but Geddy wasn’t interested in that kind of tour.

If you trust my memory then this is what happened.

I trust you bro.

I also just read a geddy interview in roll8ng stone that eluded to the tour being put off for Rush.

Well, Geddy doesn’t need put it off anymore!

He’s done his bass guitar shopping and resting for the last 2.5 years.

I say, he & Lerxst should bust out with an album & followup tour with Matt Cameron on drums. Play the My Favorite Headache stuff. Play the Victor stuff. And, of course, play the new stuff.

[Note: I’m no taskmaster and don’t actually expect this to happen. But this isn’t such an unreasonable possibility.]

Ok....

Ten Triumph cuts! Then they can do five more a piece of their solo works. That is a 30 song list. 15 cuts. Intermission 15 more.

Lay It On The Line

Never Surrender

Magic Power

Fight The Good Fight

When The Lights Go Down

Follow Your Heart

Hold On

Spellbound

I Live For The Weekend

Allied Forces

Ten Triumph Cuts. No bullshit.

So you’re bringing in whatshisname (the Triumph drummer...Gil Moore?) so that he can sing some of those tunes you listed?

So, your four member band would have Rik, Alex, Gil, and...? Who’s the bassist?

Already with the Triumph and Rush member mix you can call them “Tush”.

Lord, take me downtown

Hahaha!!! Nice on YY ZZ TOPPER! I need a topper baby!

I love Gil! Not sure if he can still do it. Why not just get Geddy on the bass and vocals too. Keys!

That's cheating but dude they can call their band "TRUST"

Get it? You're a bright fella. That's why I like you.
