My oldest brother gave me two bottles of Opus One, 2012 I think. Can't remember the date and I'm at work. Anyway, I'm going to get some nice steaks and fine trimming to go with this beautiful wine. I haven't had a really nice wine in a long time.

I hope you enjoy it. I bought a bottle for my anniversary...might of been 2012. I found it to be overpriced by $220.

Tonight I had 99 Vines Cab Sav, tasty for $10.

Did you decant the wine?

No. I’m not even sure we own a decanter.

So far I'm enjoying it. To early to say its all hype. A bit less fruit forward than the standard Apothic Red, a bit more bite.

I really liked the Inferno last time I got it. Tonight, it's a Bogle merlot left by a friend's visit. Decent enough.

And the wine's just fine, too. :P

Over priced by $220? Okay I suppose. I'm not the wine expert I once was. I spent eleven years in fine dining and have a fairly discriminating palate. Or at least I once had one. I will respectfully disagree with you on this one.

I was a Champagne snob for a while. It's my favorite to discuss. Or at least it was back then. Dom Perignon.......... overrated swill. I prefer Krug and for the price Veuve Clicquot hits the spot.

Smooth and sweet all the way through. Plan on trying the Trotwood lager tomorrow night.

Had lunch at the local B Dub's and tried and tried an SA Sam 76. Hoppy, but not even as much as a session IPA like Founder's All Day. If you're wary of IPA's, you might want to try this.
