I was wrong, Lester Del Rey was NOT the author, Lin Carter was, and he was on Berkley books. Here's the first two books I bought. As I said, these books were written in the Conan The Barbarian mode, and I enjoyed them every bit as much as the Ron Howard character! HOWARD is the author of Conan The Barbarian, RON HOWARD is the famous director that used to play 'Opie' on The Andy Griffith show in the '50s!
