I'm watching "Airplane!" tonight! I just said to myself that this movie is over "Blazing Saddles." I love both so much!

I saw "Airplane!" in the theater four times when it came out!

This movie rules.

"Just kidding!"

Love,

Johnny

A Kareem Abdul-Jabbar skyhook over Anagram/Candygram for Mongo!

Both are classics but I prefer Barbara Billingsley speaking jive in economy class.

:blaze:

Absolutely!

"What's your vector Victor?"

"Ever seen a grown man naked?"

I just got back from Vegas and saw an incredible Neal Schon Rock Show in San Francisco.

"Looks like i picked the wrong week to stop drinking....."

Love,

Airplane! by a mile.

But I prefer The Naked Gun to either of them.

I've seen Airplane! and The Naked Gun, but not Blazing Saddles.

Absolutely adore the 2/3 I've seen. Numerous viewings each.

and that, more than anything else, led to my drinking problem

*grinding a plane into reverse gear

*loudass piston engine noises for a jetliner

etc

Blazing. Airplane is great too but I give my vote to Blazing Saddles. It's so racist though.

I don't think it is racist. There was once a time when we could make light of our differences. Now we are turning into PC robots.

Blazing Saddles is the opposite of racist. It's satire.

We're from different schools.

I was in a elevator ( with a TV screen ) in NYC a few years back that was playing Blazing Saddles. Why that movie was playing but probably some cable feed.

A few black people got on the elevator and the slave scene was on. They were "what the f**k is that ?" and went down to complain.

I stand by opinion but I laughed a lot when I first saw the movie, in a movie theater, when it was first released.
