I think Dreamline is one of the better songs from RTB.

well yeah not much competition on that album.

When Neil does historical narration songs like Manhattan or Countdown, the lyrics just sound hokey.

I don’t like or dislike either lyrics from Manhattan or Dreamline. Musically, Dreamline wins so that’s what I voted for.

Manhattan Project for me

When I saw them on the CA tour, I knew that it was either going to be Manhattan Project or Dreamline in the set. I was so happy I went on a Manhattan Project night

Dreamline is the guitar version of DEW musically, though it breaks some new ground lyrically.

I love the lyrics in Manhattan Project, or more especially the delivery. It's like Rush heard Iron Maiden had been doing historical lyrics successfully and actually getting pretty emotional points across and decided to try the same thing in a different context musically and wound up succeeding stupendously. When Ged cries "flying out the shockwave," I feel more emotional connection to WWII than I ever felt in history class.

I love both of these songs, but "Manhattan Project" edges out "Dreamline" for me. They're both terrific musically, and both contain some of my all-time favorite Rush lyrics.
