One thing I noticed about this game is what I didn't notice much of. The refs, and it was refreshing. That is all...

Those two 'disputed' Eagles TDs thankfully were called correctly. If those were taken away the NFL would have heard all off season about cooking the game. It's stupid that the NFL would even consider a slight hand off the ball or 3 steps before loosing the ball as an incomplete pass. It should be simple...two steps with control is a completion.

The one that Ertz caught that they looked at for so long I thought was ridiculous- he was clearly a runner when the ball crossed the plane. End of story.

The pass that Clement caught toward the back of the end zone was a lot more reviewable, and I was a little bit surprised that it was counted. Not upset, but I can see Pats fans being upset by it.

But even without it...the Eagles won by more than seven points, so it wouldn’t have mattered in the end.

It could have completely changed the game in that itcsets a whole other series of plays in motion. But it was the right call. Edited by goose

Two things: Outstanding defensive pressure by the Eagles in the first half and in crunch time, and fantastic effort for yards after contact by the Eagles. The Pats simply didn't or couldn't tackle like the needed to.

The worst performance by a defense in any game I can remember seeing. The Eagles' defense gave them a run for their money, though. The Patriots never punted. The Eagles did once. The strip sack was the only great play by either defense. The pick of Foles in the first half was a fluke. Not playing Butler was inexcusable. Not having Gilmore cover Jeffery if you're not going to play Butler was idiotic.

How do the Eagles sit or trade the Super Bowl MVP?

Maybe Matt Patricia (can't stand the look of that guy with his backwards hat [the new mullet, btw] ungroomed beard, and pencil stuck above his right ear) was thinking more about how he's going to coach in Detroit.

I'd hang onto him though they may be tempted to do otherwise if the offer is so big they can't resist. Wentz is the starter without a doubt in my mind. But, he suffered the injury awfully late in the season and may not be ready at the early part of next season.

PATRIOTS SUCK!

Their defense wasn’t coming through that’s for sure. But “suck”? Come on, the Eagles were determined to win that game and even then the Pats kept it close to the very last second.

Some bonehead at the table next to me kept talking his shit nonstop throughout the game. When that Brady strip/fumble happened, all he had to say was “bla bla bla cheater can’t hold on ha ha bla bla” instead of giving credit to the Eagles for forcing that turnover.

Oh Lord, please protect the City of Philadelphia from the outcomes of the Iggles victory.

The streets are full of people in 7 or 8 different regions of the city - it is a giant party. Only a few bonfires so far. The property damage will come later. lol.

Nothing beats damaging property to celebrate your favorite team’s victory!!!

I heard before the game the main concern for Philly's Mayor is if the city would be burned down by angry fans or by happy ones...

Pathetic that either were possibilities

All hype. Nothing like that occurs. A little rowdyness and bad behavior but overwhelmingly awesome crowd in the streets.

Yep. That wasn't a fumble in the sense of dropping the ball, it took all the force of a big meaty paw punch to get that ball out. NE are BEASTS and it took ALL 60 minutes (literally) to win, and it still came down to defending against a precision thrown Hail Mary!!!!

He plays until we are 100% sure Wentz is better then trade him. Wentz would have won the game too had he played. We need to make sure that surgery took ;)

17 records broken during this Super Bowl, including Brady's 505 yds passing. Unreal offensive production by both teams.

Arena League Football.

Hey Earl, what was the Raiders’ record this season?

And how’d they do in the playoffs? Oooooh yeah, they didn’t....

Also, didn’t the Raiders play both the Eagles and the Pats this season? How’d they fare against them?

Philadelphia still standing today?

What percentage of the city was burned to the ground?

The only truly douchey thing was a broken store window. Some poles came down, some idiots climbed on a hotel awning which came down, a food fight in a convenience store, and some kid ate horseshit off the street. 99.9% of the huge throngs of people were just having fun. The cops were high fiving the crowd.

All joking aside this was like a Rocky movie. The real way to win is to limit the Pats to less than 20 pts. Instead a fing offensive slugfest ensues (DONT GO TOE TO TOE WITH HIM ROCK!) and we came out just ahead. Wow.
