RUSHHEAD666
Not sure if this thread will seriously "Fly By Night" but it might! Thanks Myles for the idea. What a great time to get writer's block. As Fish would say, "Where do I go from here?" Steven Rothery is so much better on those old Fish Marillion records. I love Ronnie Le Tekro. Who? I love John Sykes. Tygers Of Pan Tang. I think this thread would die quicker if it was just about past rocker guitar players. John McLaughlin rules. Al Di Meola Rules! Old school shredders come in all shapes and sizes and genres. I do love it all. Even the 50's were fun for guitar players. I love Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry of course! Myles, could you help me out? 1001001 SOS

RUSHHEAD666
"Astronomy" is playing now. This song is boring? Kansas wishes they wrote this song. Keep listening to "Dust In The Wind." Jesus... Talk about boring radio friendly crap. Put that song title on my tombstone. We are all dying meat with our eternal selves stuck inside. "What do you want on your Tombstone?" "Pepperoni and sausage." LOL

Rick N. Backer
I got tickets for the Def Leppard-Journey show this week, so I've been binging on Def Leppard (I can enjoy some Journey but I'm not really looking forward to seeing what is essentially a tribute band). Other than Slang, I have to say I can enjoy every single one of their albums. I also just picked up the The Purple Tour and the 1987 30th anniversary editions. Coverdale is a dreadful lyric writer, right up there with Sammy Hagar and Brian Johnson, but his voice was amazing. I haven't given the Purple Tour a listen yet, but he sounded good on Made in Japan and Made in Britain. And Forevermore and Good to Be Bad are both enjoyable albums. Lep and Journey are supposed to rotate who closes the show each night. Maybe you'll luck out and Lep will be on first then you can leave early.
