Many Oscar screeners leak each year. I’ll make up for it later bums renting it when it’s available. blueschica
Blow on Cinemax I miss the days when Johnny Depp gave was a great talent to watch.I was thinking the same thing not too long ago when I watched What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and also Finding Neverland. Depp was so good back then. I try to turn off Blow when it comes on or I end up losing a few hours! There are a lot of good performances in it; I like Pee Wee Paul Reubens and also George's parents, basically everyone but Penelope Cruz!

I haven't seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas but I'm interested since you said that was a good performance as well.

Fear & Loathing book is awesome but I saw the movie first and liked it anyway. So reading or not reading it didn’t really matter. I love both. I like Hunter S. Thompson so there’s that too. I’m scared that Rum Diary (with Depp) is crap so I’ve stayed away from it. The book is good though.

When we lived in Colorado Hunter Thompson was still alive, living near Aspen. People stayed away from his property, though, because of all the firepower! :o

I sometimes have to walk away if I see it when channel surfing because it means the next three hours is down the drain ! It’s on Netflix now. Surprised it hasn’t been on HBO in years since it’s a WB movie and it’s much better with the F bombs. Final Justice (MST3K) Watching this and Mitchell in honor of Joe Don Bakers birthday today.
