579 miles between my childhood home and my current home. A 9.5-hour drive more or less, depending on how heavy my foot is..... :D

Born in Brazil, living in Canada...

So if you're a South American & North American citizen, don't the South and North cancel out each other?

Does this make you an American2.....?? :7up:

I was born in NW Oklahoma and now live in NE Oklahoma so its around 120 miles.

I’ve spent a long time away from “home” including 17 years in Enid Oklahoma. My Enid Era officially ends on Monday. I will live 1.7 miles from my birth place.

Poll could use different options. Someone moving from southern to central Utah carries as much weight as the TRFer that moved from south to north America, for example.

According to google...

7,330 miles/11,796 kilometers from the town I grew up in to my current one.

6,901 miles/11,106 kilometers from my birth town to my current one.

It still will probably end up being about 40% for those living less than 50 miles from their birth town, as some studies have shown (for Americans anyway).

Wasn't looking for cultural differences, only miles.

Just a suggestion for a more compelling poll, no worries

Worried not, thanks, but would like to explore your comment about why that kind of move would "carry as much weight"?

in my mind it doesn't, but in the results of this poll it would.
