JARG
You see the youthful tendency to speed up during songs, especially Working Man. At some point, I was expecting someone's head to explode. The polite Canadian kids in the audience were amusing as well. Stay seated, clap politely, don't make a scene. Very Canadian. I guess the story behind this footage is that is was unknown until the high school was cleaning out their audio/visual archive room and found it. That would flip me out. If I was Geddy I'd be giving Neil some nasty looks and telling him to slow down a bit. you mean John-------^ right? Neil would not appreciate nasty looks since he would have been in the audience or backstage at this point. I'm not so sure that Al is the one doing the speeding up. I remember hearing a Tom Sawyer bootleg where they were speeding up and then hearing 'slow down!' and eventually getting back to the normal tempo. No I was talking about the video with Neil. Me too. He said he wasn't even aware of Rush at that point, but probably would have enjoyed the hell out of that show. I think we’re talking about two different videos. Maybe. You and I are two of the lucky few who have been able to talk with Neil about videos. ;) Edited January 18, 2018 by JARG
