So what do you think of Gruden going back to direct the fortunes of the Silver and Black?

There's going to many more Black Mondays, Black Monday Nights... No more Gruden Time... :boohoo:

I see Phil Simms returning to the network that gave him his start. :outtahere:

If the Titans get blown out in KC next week - a distinct possibility - Mike Mularkey could get the axe ..

As far as the Broncos and Vance Joseph .. as a Bronco fan, I'm good with keeping Vance .... the defense played incredible well all things considered - 3rd in total yards surrendered, 4th in passing yds, 5th in rushing yds ( and number 1 in rushing yards allowed per attempt ) ...

The Broncos offense was dismal - the worst I can remember in my 42 years as a fan .. And this includes the Tebow era in which they were winning games with three completed passes ... The Broncos offense was 31st in ints, 31st in overall turnover, 27th in scoring - and if you take away those first wins which included a miraculous 42 points vs the Cowboys, the offense was dead last in the league ..

Punt returner Isiah McKenzie had 21 returns and 6 fumbles ..

I put this season squarely on Elway who somehow thought the defense - with a first time HC and DC - could carry the team with Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch in camp as the QBs ..

I can't believe they kept sending McKenzie out there. Nothing he could do returning the ball could have offset the fumbling. That's on the coach.

Why would Gruden give up his cushy gig to go back to the Raiders? I know it’s being reported they want him, but is there any indication Gruden wants the job? Or would even consider it?

For part ownership of the team. At least that's the rumor.

Mularkey needs to cut the mularkey or the Titans need to cut both mularkeys...

I’d take that deal if I were him. I’d also make those son of a bitches stand for the anthem.

I think he'd prefer to win.

If nothing else, Chucky likes his name out there every offseason.. Some bit of team ownership could be a game changer.

Also doesn’t it build his TV cred being out there again?

GM Ted Thompson is also stepping down and assuming a new, advisory position with the team.

He’d be foolish to go back. I’m sure he makes plenty of money now, and no headaches.

I was a little surprised about Caldwell. Del Rio wouldn't be a goner unless Gruden is already hooked by da rayduhhhhhhs.

caldwell was 4-23 against winning teams. it was obvious they hit a brick wall with him running the team. .500ish is a no man's land in the NFL. In the past, .500 was acceptable with the Lions...not with Bob Quinn as GM.

Cooter and Austin are overrated as coordinators so the coaching staff needs a clean sweep.

Gruden just loves the ego stroking. he won't go back to coaching.
