Dem Packers are in a world of hurt!

A truly dismal defense is getting outplayed, out-coached and downright embarassed.

A directionless offense is being led by a slightly aloof backup QB who is obviously not ready for prime time.

Playoffs? Did you say playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!!

yeah it's so bad it almost takes the fun out of gloating...almost ;)

yeah hundley is not a pro QB but that defense is a dumpster fire.

Good game, Hundley! You're getting better every week! Some nice clutch throws when the team needed 'em the most!

The Green Bay Packers' Post-Season streak has come to a painful end. :(

Eight straight appearances in the playoffs is a mighty accomplishment, and Packer fans are feeling quite blessed......but unsatisfied, of course!

2006: No Playoffs

2007: NFC Championship

2008: No Playoffs

2009: NFC Wild Card

2010: Super Bowl Champions

2011: NFC Divisional Round

2012: NFC Divisional Round

2013: NFC Wild Card

2014: NFC Championship

2015: NFC Divisional Round

2016: NFC Championship

2017: No Playoffs

They'll be back. GB always reloads! I love watching frozen tundra football. It reminds me of the good old days of grass fields in the CFL.

Free agency may hit the Packers hard this off-season. Davante Adams is a free agent, so he will command a lot. Nelson and Cobb are making 20 million per year combined. Morgan Burnett and a few linemen are also free agents.

I’m betting on the Packers to draft a stud WR in the first 1-3 rounds as well as a pass rushing D-lineman, as their pass rush has been a farce. The defense is in horrible shape.

they might want to think about drafting rodgers eventual replacement. 13 screws in his throwing shoulder...13! his arm might never get over that.

His non throwing shoulder was injured ... but before going back on IR, he WAS hit 13 times and sacked thrice in the first game back from the original injury in Minnesota. It's not easy to protect a qb who runs out of the pocket and is willing to take a hit to make a completion. A healthy OL and a running game will go a long ways to help him. That may be a ways off ... but don't expect a change in his playing style.

It was his throwing shoulder (the right collar bone). Two metal plates and 13 screws.

In 2013, his non-throwing collar bone (the left one) was broken.

According to the NFL rule book (IR section ), it might be sooner than you think. Then again, we ARE dealing with an organization that can't even come up with a reasonable definition of a simple thing like a catch, so anything could happen.

It's not going to happen. NFL teams routinely dump players on IR for not-so-valid reasons. A few crybaby teams are not going to make this an issue.

Also, when the NFL Front Office is notified of a player being designated to IR, it either accepts it or denies it that very day. The NFL Front Office accepted the Packers' designation for Rodgers, so it's a done deal.

I know, I just wanted to point out the subjective of inconsistent nature of NFL rule enforcement. The IR rule is a stupid one so it not being followed is appropriate.

It's a painful consequence of combining a popular game or sport with Big Business and Bureaucracy. The Powers That Be will never get everything right.

teams could call it a pulled hammy or sore back and no one could argue against it. there's teams that puts guys on temporary IR just for a roster move so they can still keep them.

the rule that is really stupid is the 45 person game day roster when you have 53 signed. If they're on the 53 man roster, suit em up.
