Sexual Assault Allegations. Are all famous guys doing this?

Many of them should be in prison, Spacey among them. Not to mention Singer who's scrambling to save his hide.

If they had any conscience or integrity, they'd cancel the Oscars. But people love to pretend all is well, and there's no lack of others to play along.

Yeah I was reminded about Singer a few days ago but he has long been dogged of rumors about boys.

If someone accuses The Shat of sexual assault I’ll set my phaser to kill and off myself.

Something is in the paper today about him. Maybe he'll buy silence from the victim yet again. That or "STFU or you're dead."

I performed the Google and no such thing came up. Just a Twitter feud with Jason “I’m no Kirk” Isaacs.

Do not blaspheme The Shat, woman!

Are you talking about Brian Singer? If so, you didn't google very well. http://deadline.com/...ife-1202216936/

No, The Shat.

I have no idea who you are talking about. I was talking about Brian Singer.

Not to worry. I'm sure that he got where he is on his talent and good looks and luck.

Of course he’s Canadian.

Yep.

Canadians have to work twice as hard to get noticed because the rest of the world always forgets that they're around.

They have the best cloaking technology on the planet..... ;) ;)

Do you realize men are looking for infants to have sex with? Please tell me - men - what is the attraction to screwing an infant? Or sodomizing a six year old boy? Or screwing a little girl?

I wouldn’t know - I’m not a pedophile.

Careless question phrasing at best, indirect male bashing at most.

This isn't a court room. It's a Rush forum.

What there sounds like a court room?

I’m not the only one who thought your question could’ve been anywhere between poorly worded and offensive.

I guess it's more of the 'forbidden fruit' thing and the inability to separate fantasy from reality.

There is no forbidden fruit in the case of an adult having sexual relations with high schoolers and younger. It’s pedophilia!

A 30-year old teacher screwing around with a 17-year old high school student is a much different case than the same teacher molesting an 8-year old. While both acts are rightfully deemed immoral and illegal, they are not the same.

You’re right, not a mental disorder but, as you said, immoral and illegal.

Actually with Hollywood having moved north to Vancouver it is Canadians getting most of the good work lately.

Your penchant for precise terminology.

I already explained that. If that's not good enough for you or PM, there's nothing more I can say.

“Penchant”? Nonsense.

You’d rather that we all agree with you that ALL of Hollywood is evil.

This particular crime is evil. And it's too common in Hollywood. Period.

What you can say is this:

"I apologize for my out-of-line suggestion that men are inherently qualified to explain pedophiles' behavior."

Polite and respectful people take responsibility for their mistakes and rude behavior. It's up to you to be polite and respectful.....or not.

No, I won't apologize because I didn't mean it to intentionally insult you or anyone else It never occurred to me that you, or anyone else, would have been insulted by it. The only thing I'm sorry about is that you, and others, took it that way. I'm not a man. I don't know how or what men think.

My mistakes and rude behavior? For voicing my opinions and my experiences? That's what you consider my rude behavior and mistakes? If everyone on TRF had to go around apologizing for what some, or any member, thought was another's mistake or rude behavior, that's all we'd be doing every day.

For what it's worth, I took your question as a rhetorical one. Emotionally charged, but rhetorical.

In regards to William Shatner

For what it's worth

Any thoughts on the mysterious death of his wife ??

Rumours began to surface that William Shatner and his latest wife Elizabeth Martin, had started seeing each other at the beginning of his marriage to Nerine. Elizabeth Martin, had a similar interest in horses, It was no coincidence that Nerine was never allowed to visit Shatner's horse farm in Kentucky. Shatner saw Nerine, as an obstacle and a liability, he wanted to move on.

THE PLAN.

Note; Nerine was a social drinker, but her associates/friends observed a noticable increase in her drinking during the marriage. Shatner escalated Nerine's alcohol intake tacitly and directly, to damage her image as a wife, thus attracting sympathy to his martial plight. His tactics were initially focussed on generating a favourable divorce settlement as Nerine was instrumental in introducing Shatner to Jord Poster's Priceline.com, a business that saw him earn a significant income...

THE MURDER.

Shatner's violent intentions began to manifest themself within a short time. In the Spring 1999, Nerine confided in a beautician that her life was under threat from her husband. 3 months before she was killed Shatner struck her in the face and left a considerable gash. she told a friend Shatner had demanded a divorce, she refused, violence ensued. This incident was covered up. On May 26, a member of the public filmed Nerine distressed during a para-sailing session, she exclaimed to Shatner 'I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO'. This video is available to the media...

Nerine, duly arrived at her house unexpectedly, Shatner, surprised was furious, their housekeeper claimed she was so drunk she had to be helped to eat, this is not true...

The murder took place near the pool, he hit her several tiimes then a final push sent her falling to strike her head against the pool side, semi-conscious, Shatner then held her head under water to force a drowning...

On his return that evening, Shatner firstly made a call to someone associated with her rehab, and asked her where his wife was (A fatal error, as he knew where she was). The associate suggested he look in the pool, returning to this call, he then said he had found her. A call only made to reinforce his ignorance...

His imaginary choice of seeing her at the deep end, is an unusual occurence in domestic pool deaths...

At the funeral Shatner was overheard in conversation to Nerine's mother, she requested to him that some of Nerine's ashes be scattered in Boston harbor, Shatner replied 'would you like an arm or a thigh'—an inditement in itself...

I remember this, and I recall feeling that there was more to the death of his wife than what was being reported ...

But I'll have to read about this ... It is not out of the realm of possibility

NOW I know why she left. To be honest, I'm not offended by her statements. But I DEFINITELY do notknow why ANY of these morons, [Men AND Women] do these unconscionable things. As i've said before, they all need a MASSIVE INFUSION of LEAD into their useless BRAINS. I think we all need to take a step back with Lorraine, something is going on in her life, and she needs a hand at this point...

to Lorraine if you read this..........you shouldn't let differing views scare you. sure it got heated. and i'm just gonna say i don't agree with all you wrote.

but don't let that scare you away from posting.....it's probably more than this silly thread anyway.

hope you feel better friend.

I just checked in to see what's going on since l'm off from work today. This exchange was truly unfortunate. Writing from an outsider POV - things said from a discussion viewpoint were taken way too personally and it lead to this. I'm just sorry it happened and I hope we all can continue to converse with one another and share our support for and to a band that means a lot to us. :rush: thank you for your time.
