Lambrusco with dinner (pasta and sauce). I have a New Holland Dragon's Milk tucked away, but at 11% that's for later.

Will hit Funky Buddha this weekend, my favorites like Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and Nib Smuggler chocolate porter are flowing.

Snap, Karen wants a cold one or two to go with the chili mentioned in another thread. Off to TW for a Box of Bucks (Shiner) and a mixed six for me.

Edit: Chili is on the stove, and I've been steadily pouring beers into my face. A combo of Krombacher Pils, Bell's Lager of the Lakes, and Bell's Amber Ale. Another half of a bottle of Amber went into the chili pot.

Something non alcoholic today. With all the Holiday and retirement parties going on at work, it's the for a break. Parties there will be ongoing through the month. I want to avoid needing a liver transplant.

My oldest brother gave me two bottles of Opus One, 2012 I think. Can't remember the date and I'm at work. Anyway, I'm going to get some nice steaks and fine trimming to go with this beautiful wine. I haven't had a really nice wine in a long time.

I hope you enjoy it. I bought a bottle for my anniversary...might of been 2012. I found it to be overpriced by $220.

Tonight I had 99 Vines Cab Sav, tasty for $10.

So does your name change mean Santa is bringing you a Corvette for Christmas?

Ahhh you made that connection, excellent.

No, I’m thinking my birthday in March. January will be focused on getting my dear sweet wife relocated in our new apartment. February is her birthday and Valentine’s Day. March is Corvette time, then planning fun road trips with the misses.

Headed to TW this afternoon to grab my home holiday supply. Not sure if I want a full six pack of something and a second six mix or go all across the map and do two mixes. More on that later.

Then to Miller's Ale House for a burger, a couple of Yeungling's, and catch some Dolphins v Chiefs.

Follow-up: TW didn't have my first choice, GLBC Dortmunder Gold, but they did have sixer cans of Bell's Oatsmobile, and that'll work. The sixer mixer is:

2 Bell's Amber Ale, a Bell's Special Double Cream Stout,a Full Sail Session Lager, a Founder's PC Pilsner, and just for fun, a Founder's Backwoods Bastard. Cheers!

Coors Light and apple pie for dessert. Beer with sweet things is a bad habit I developed in college when we used to have beer and birthday cake a lot!

That's so like the holidays! I'm paring Bell's Oatsmobile with Harry and David Chocolate Moose Crunch (carmel corn).

So far I'm enjoying it. To early to say its all hype. A bit less fruit forward than the standard Apothic Red, a bit more bite.
