I have never heard anything from Queen that convinces of their supposed greatness. Never has such a highly praised band given me such a meh feeling when I listen to them.

Unfortunate. Have you heard very many of their albums, or just a few albums and all the hits? Certain albums in their catalogue are so remarkably different from others that you may love them even if you don't care for other ones.

Why is it unfortunate? Queen aren't as loved as you think they are. No band can please everybody.

I don't think Queen are universally loved, I never said I did. What I meant there was, as someone who knows the joy of enjoying Queen, it's sad for me to see someone else unable to find joy in their music, even though I know they find their own joy in other music and other things.

And I'm sorry but I've got to say this. Segue, I get that you don't like Queen and you seem to be annoyed by my constant fawning over them, but you always seem to be taking me the wrong way when I bring them up. I love Queen. I know others don't. I accept that others don't and appreciate learning their perspectives, otherwise I wouldn't care to be on this board at all. However, as a very passionate person with a humongous passion for Queen, I'm probably going to refer to them with some degree of adulation whenever they come up, whether others share my opinion or not. Why have you negatively called me out so often on fanboying over them?

Lol you make a good point here. I just really cannot stand Queen so I seem to show vitriol with as much passion as you praise them haha

Its apparent I've been a jerk. I didn't mean to be!

No it's okay, I figured you weren't trying to be mean, it just came out that way a bit. All's good. :)
