Interesting that the POTUS gets away with bragging about sexual assault and walking backstage at his pageant and seeing nearly naked teenagers but celebrities get shitcanned based on years old events that someone says happened without an investigation.

Uh-huh. There are plenty of ex-Presidents with worse track records. And you can't tell the current POTUS doesn't get "shitcanned". I'm just saying let's be fair about all this.

Why have so many Presidents gotten away with debauchery, adultery, fornication, etc.? Because they can. It's an irritating truth of our society.

Powerful people in the entertainment industry have been getting away with it for decades. Recent events may be changing that power dynamic. Public shame still works for the majority of people in this country. Now that we're fully in the 24/7 Instant Information Age, and now that people are bringing such debauchery into the light, people in power may not be so eager to try it. Maybe.....

It’s all because of privilege and double standards that makes people believe they’re magically above the law or that it magically never happened and the accusers are magically liars. Just a bunch of 2+2=5 Goebbels crap. Just look at that Moore punk from Alabama. NOBODY is above the law just because of skin color, ethnicity, political party, profession, orientation etc..

Fitting that I say above the law since Seagal has a history of this. Just ask Jenny McCarthy.

The only think I'd ask Jenny McCarthy is, "do you feel lucky, bitch"?

Privilege and double standards exist only because we allow it. Why do people in power stay in power? Because the People are too afraid to take that power away. Because no one says "NO, you CAN'T do that."

I once worked at a home imporvement store, where the cashiers/front end manager was a total creep. Constantly spewing sexual vulgarities and degrading comments towards the cashiers. Sadly, the cashiers either played along or were too afraid to say anything.

But then, a young managment-trainee was hired, and when she was working with the cashiers, she experienced the creep's behavior. She did not play along. The next thing we knew, he was GONE. Transferred to Iowa....which he refused and then quit. Good Riddance. :haz:

BTW, Louis C.K. has admitted this afternoon that the sexual misconduct stories are true . . . very sad.

It's the best route to take if he wants to save his career. Just admit to it, show true remorse, stop doing it, and people will come to forgive.

It's about time Seagal's career came to an end anyway. Some of the most tedious films ever made with a level of stone face one note acting you just can't believe.

Well, there goes "Snakes and Arrows: The Movie" Sounds like he would have been perfect for it.

He could play Neil and this time it would be personal! Any fans harassing Neil would get the tables turned on them. Guys would their ass kicked and women would get a flash of Seagal Jr.!

What career? That disappeared along with his real hair.

He's hanging out in Russia sucking carrots and playing with his melons.

There's this channel over here called the Sony channel and they show at least two of his films every night! It's the Seagal channel! Hopefully these headlines will get him axed from the channel after this.

It looks like Louis CK is the latest to face a possible abrupt end to his career. The release of his new film, "I Love You, Daddy" has been shut down due to a pending New York Times exposé on him. A very scathing exposé.

...barely a scandal.

He's been dropped from FX.

He admitted today that the accusations are true. Good on him for owning up to his heinous behavior, but he still failed to say one word: Sorry. All this public relations BS about remorse and regret, but no apologies to the people he harmed.

These indicidents occurred from 2002 to 2005, and he already apologized to some of the women years ago. He has been directly apologizing to all of his current coworkers for the impact that his shunning is causing them.

He's getting it done. I don't think there's a stopwatch running on him to see how fast he's doing it.

And he waited until he had no practical choice in the matter. What a jackoff.

Anthony Edwards comes out as another child victim.. Hollywood is a f***in cesspool of vultures

Hollywood is a concentrated sample of Humanity. All the hedonistic sins and crimes that people in Hollywood commit can be found everywhere else.

We’re rapidly approaching the Age of Transparency. Every nasty habit, dirty little secret or vice can and will be put in the public spotlight by anyone who has access to the proper technology.
