HemiBeers Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 (edited) I admit I'm not real familiar with deep cuts in the Queen material, so I gave this a good 3-4 listens. Good rock song, but it sounds like there's too many disparate parts crammed into one song and it doesn't flow well. Too many stops and starts. The beginning is trippy and cool though and the Bytor-ish break is cool as well. But Bastille is top 10 Rush for me, so it's still not close. zepphead Posted July 21, 2020 Share Posted July 21, 2020 well _hi_water_ .... looks like you have resurrected another old thread so I might as well get my tuppance worth in - Queen - a great, iconic band and Ogre Battle is one of their heaviest moments from arguably their heaviest album ...butBastille Day is part of the Rush DNA ... it takes me back to some of my earliest memories of the band ..... any easy choice.
