to be honest the original cd of AFTK sounds really great, the silverface one from 1990, the first one that was presented to us on cd. the 97 remasters were too harsh and distorted.. the 90 one has a more warm analog sound to it.. and doesn't sound harsh when you turn it up.

Rush's back catalog was released in 1987 in the US. The first ones were the atomic faces which were made in West Germany.

Just released on youtube ... Lakeside Park, Hammersmith, Feb 20th 1978

It's very cool to hear the bits of the Taurus pedals in this

Thank you, Lucas!  this.

I agree BC ... the sound is great, and I love hearing Lakeside Park from this era - it must have been taken out of the set soon after this

Is this the same show that was on the Different Stages CD? If so then why are we getting it again?

Lakeside park was not on different stages, and also 2112, but the question is still valid, why another remix of the album?:

  1. Bastille Day - 5:01

  2. By-Tor & The Snow Dog - 5:00

  3. Xanadu - 12:18

  4. A Farewell To Kings - 5:54

  5. Something For Nothing - 4:01

  6. Cygnus X-1 - 10:24

  7. Anthem - 4:39

  8. Working Man - 4:01

  9. Fly By Night - 2:04

  10. In The Mood - 3:35

  11. Cinderella Man - 5:10

They released a 40th anniversary edition of RUSH, 2112 and Farewell To Kings. Why no Fly By Night and Caress Of Steel?

Maybe because the band is not as proud of those albums to worth a new edition.

At this point Ole gets to decide what albums get the reissue treatment though it would be nice to have the 2015 masters used for budget Archives kind of release..

great version, the drums are off the hook,, neil was on fire,, this mix sounds more different and better than the different stages show..

Warts and all anyway.

How are you guys able to watch this video? It's not available on my end.

It’s not really a video, but just the song. Can you not hear the song either?
