pjbear05
Heading to a sports bar to watch the UFC PPV tonight, will probably kill a pitcher of Yeungling. I don't get the praise that Yeungling gets. I tried both the traditional and light lagers they have, but nothing really separates them from other traditional American lagers. What's the big deal exactly?Lots of factors some of them highly opinionated by yours truly. People here drink Yeungling cause it tastes different than anything from Anhueser- Busch, Miller, or Coors. Plus it's available in the bars here where other lagers are not. It's in a sports bar in FL- I do most of my drinking in brew pubs and craft beer bars. However when I buy beer for home consumption, that's a different story. I buy quite a bit of Bell's, and I'm a big fan of the Amber Ale and Double Cream Stout. But I'm not a fan of Oberon. pjbear05
The Total Wine by work was rocking the Midwest beers. A huge display of Great Lakes Brewing, lots of Bell's and Founder's all over, and a small display of New Holland. Mixed myself a nice 6 pack of 2 GLB Dortmunder Gold, 2 Bell's Amber Ale, a Bell's Lager, and a New Holland Dragon's Milk bourbon barrel stout :hail: .

LyndseyG
Rekorderlig pear cider infused with wild berries. I have been trying these over the past few weeks in search of new "poisons". So far they've all been fab.

goose
No correlationA Irishman and a Austrian are the only survivors of a plane crash on an island. They are walking around looking for food when the Austrian finds a bottle. He rubs it and a genie appears. The genie says, "I will grant each of you one wish. But, I must warn you, anything you choose, the other man gets twice as much of."The Austrian goes first. He says "I'll have a glass of Austrian Pilsner Beer. That way that Irish bastard will get two glasses of it, and see what a real beer tastes like.So the genie nods, and suddenly the Austrian is holding a glass of fine Austrian beer, and Irishman is holding two glasses of the same beer. The Austrian says "Now taste a real beer, not that Guinness sewage!" The genie then turns to the Irishman and says "Now it's your turn, but remember the Austrian will get twice what you wish for."The Irishman says "Genie, see that stick over there? Beat me half to death with it."

Day of Light
Le BockAle's Drummond White IPA the brewery's name is a bit cringy but their beers are very good for the price and have what I would describe as very aesthetic packaging. blueschica
This sells out so quickly around here that I have never been able to find it before! It's a Belgian type ale that tastes like cherries and honey -looking forward to trying it over Thanksgiving. With 11% alcohol and 11 people here it sounds just right! :P
Fordgalaxy
Since tomorrow is a work day, I limit myself to 4 martinis and 3 hard ciders. If I really drank that much at any one sitting, I'd be comatose.

pjbear05
Lambrusco with dinner (pasta and sauce). I have a New Holland Dragon's Milk tucked away, but at 11% that's for later. Will hit Funky Buddha this weekend, my favorites like Maple Bacon Coffee Porter and Nib Smuggler chocolate porter are flowing.
